I didn't make excuses, I merely pointed out that it's not a fair comparison. It's much easier having less violence and crime when nearly everyone is living above average life styles and have no reason to go to a life of crime. It's not like the country is all about giving hand outs either, they are highly educated.

I think you are greatly confused, I assume you forgot the We are the 99% movement? Also Norway and Finland with populations of 5 million is a bit more different then a country of 330 million people covering a way larger area of land. The best the States can do is standardize policing across the board (maybe form an equivalent of the RCMP for down south). But to think that society will be peaceful and at a quality of living similar to Finland is a pipe dream. Not happening and I don't see communism coming to the States any time soon. So who is the 2nd richest country in the world and how is that country dealing with it's policing.....

I'm glad you completely missed the point that higher poverty equals higher crime. Do you really think of all the crimes and police shootings involve the wealthier people in the States? Norway, Germany and Finland are utopias in the world... the standard of living and quality of life is way higher then the States.

In fairness those three countries are incredibly rich and have way less crime and population of the States. Why not post about the Philippines with 7000 murders by police in the last six months.

My memories of Chuck E Cheese was the poor guy in the mascot costume being beaten by little kids non stop. Constantly stomping on his feet and punching him . Also the ticket machines breaking and spitting out a full roll of tickets. Finally beating the Ninja Turtles arcade game with 3 strangers was probably one of my highlights of my youth lol.

I'd expect $500 .... the parts that both Xbox and PS5 are using are not cheap at all.

It doesn't help when some people use the term properly and others are not and screaming that Winnipeg Police is evil and needs to be abolished/defunded. It really doesn't help that the Jayda lady is full of hate and hurting the cause by sending mixed and bad messages. WPS has a really really high budget that could be cut down... it would help immensely if we had a better justice system or bigger jails to lock people up so that the police members don't need to drive around town checking all the low level thugs breaking curfew. The cadet system helps a lot... maybe they could increase the amount of cadets or create some other kind of "lite police officer" where they can do all the calls/jobs that a full blown police officer isn't needed for. My other idea (for when I run for mayor) they can generate a tonne of money by having non officers write tickets for people driving with cell phones (distracted driving) and writing speeding tickets.

All I remember is the wide range of emotions I felt of highs and lows all in a series of just a few plays.... just awesome.

Trudeau reminds me a lot of Mayor Bowman. A people pleaser who will turn on a dime and smile for the camera and say and do whatever to make his *image* look good even if it goes completely against what they have said before. For example Bowman wanted to open portage and main and I was very much against it... it was one of his major points. The people started grumbling and out of fear of losing popularity he backed out. While I'm happier that the intersection is open , it makes me think that this guy doesn't have the guts to do anything. So in the future if he makes a promise (that I do support) which may be a tough decision that may not be favourable for all... I will expect him to bend and chicken out in order to avoid looking like a bad guy. Same with Trudeau. I'm not saying Trudeau should spit in the face of protesters and say EVERYONE stay home... he is sending conflicting signals by saying "STAY HOME DONT KILL PEOPLE BECAUSE OF COVID... and then goes out in a public gathering? So what is it... stay home or go out if you think it's for a good reason? If Trudeau was smart he would address the nation, speak about the positives and the challenges in Canada, offer support to the Americans...... and in a kind way put the screws into Trump and remind him how policing in Canada is standardized and how all cadets are forced mandatory training in Aboriginal Awareness classes and how we Canada can help them out by leading by example. This then beings the alliance of Biden and Trudeau who will then form the Can-Am connection 2.0 and take out Trump-Pence.

He could of easily done a video that would of reached the whole country. Him going out just means that the seriousness of social distancing and staying at home at this point is extremely low or that Trudeau believes that the COVID threat is over and that we can return to normal life. If this cause is a big deal for him, then why doesn't he grow a pair and call out Trump? To me this was just him being a dink and trying to score brownie points.
