We just got a message that our school is adding a few more inservice days later this month to plan for remote learning. If the numbers continue then I would assume that everything goes remote in the new year after X-Mas break.

I'm curious if their is more to the story as next door to Wild Wing they used to have a Sushi place (forget the name) and suddenly one day they also had issues with rent and simply vanished.

I saw it was closed a few weeks back, I assumed it closed because it wasn't that busy before COVID. I did like the many different flavours, I wish they could of moved somewhere else.

Bigger guys who can run fast and with some power, yes the NFL has had plenty. They usually avoid sending them out to run to prevent injury. Streveler is not faster or stronger then many of the other QB's. I love the guy but he's far from some genetic freak that can out athletic the opposition.

The NFL has seen many very large QB's who can run fast and who can push for extra yards.

For the sake of one of my childs sanity... I hope the schools remain open. The children really are not mentally coping well with being locked down at home. I spoke with a few other parents who decided to homeschool and they are severely regretting the decision with the main reason that the childrens mental health is really poor being isolated by themselves. Thankfully our school division is good and the school and the teachers are really doing a bang up job of keeping the kids in cohorts and teaching in a new manner.

I think the 98% is a bit lofty, I would think going with Star link in remote areas (primarily reserves) would be probably the ideal solution. It's ridiculously expensive to get high speed to locations up North and usually most communities have piggy backed off of Hydro paying for it.

So Bowman has not heard from Pallister since April... and basically called him out. This is not looking good.

I wish their was a way they could fine these ding dongs and take all that money from the fines and redistribute them to local owned businesses struggling in these times. Taking 1000 dollars from an idiot and giving it to a ma and pa store would go a long way for helping them stay around.

I'd say he had a much easier time here then Matt Nichols. I don't remember people blaming Glenn for our woes. I remember the opposite of people being WTF Mike Kelly getting rid of Glenn.

Based on everything I've read on here, on any where else on the internet, what I've watched on tv... the impression I had was that Biden would win in a land slide. It's not true as much as you would love to believe it to be. It's not an opinion it's fact.

Chris Jones definitely stained the CFL. In recent history they and Montreal really have not done well in making the CFL a respectable league (off field and management issues).

I agreed with you that it is. But to say that is "the only" reason Republicans win is nonsense. The MAGA red hat silly people are a vocal minority. The middle class white/asian/latin working class is a massive silent majority though. Their are a tonne of "closet Trump supporters" out in the States. As I said before... what you see on TV and what you watch on the internet does not represent the reality in most cases in the States.

While I don't disagree with them playing funny games... to say that is the only way they win is definitely a stretch. I said it a long time ago.... surfing the net and watching "American news" will give people an unrealistic view of what the average American is thinking. The vocal minority does not represent what most people actually feel. I said many months ago when the BLM riots commenced that this would push the silent majority to vote for Trump because your average hard working citizen will not accept living in a country which supports that kind of behaviour. As much as an idiot that Trump is , people will vote out of fear and/or because they are simple minded and will believe his ****. Biden looked to weak as a leader IMO. It's unfortunate that they didn't have a younger and confident (basically someone like Obama) to go against Trump.

My source (who is a teacher) has not heard of this yet. All of the teachers are heavily in favour of doing so though.
