In 2018 he could of replaced a lot of guys , in 2019 he could of been given more reps then guys like Demski who disappeared for long stretches of time. The guy produced whenever he was on the field so it surprised me that they wouldn't try to find a way to involve him more.

Jason Cole was hilarious, I liked him because he wasn't a cookie cutter everything is awesome and gushing over every single player/team. The guy was much more of a realist and called out when teams played or made bad decisions. It reminds me of the guys on walterfootball.com (great site to visit during NFL free agency period) because they are hilarious and completely give unbias opinions on moves and trades. Hustler was a good interview but was much better when Lawless was around to call him out. I found Hustler at times having very stubborn and "fanboy" like opinions. Rick Ralph is god awful, not funny at all and never added anything to the shows. Kevin O was generic, Troy Westwood was weird, Toth I found funny and for the most part the stars of the show were the guests they had on like Pierre LeBrun who did offer good insights.

It's so bad that it is good though. You get 80 year old guys named Herb calling and saying the coach is a bum the qb is a bum and that we should trade for whoever the best QB is in the league and why this team isn't dominant. Basically clones of TBurgess call in and it's funny to listen to.

I'm not going to lie.... that depth chart made me hard. This is a solid team with great depth.

Considering he was not used well while here it amazes me that he would want to rejoin the same OC and QB. I think on any other team (ours included) he has a way higher chance of being a big time player.

Clearly it is for the optics , the NFL is trying to earn brownie points. Do you really think the NFL cares that teams are forced to interview one black candidate (yet not forced to interview asian , gay , brown, female) it's all about the optics and trying to gather some good attention from the press/media. I just don't understand why you'd be surprised, in a world where a network decides that an obese old lady with zero experience in action movies is chosen as the lead of the Equalizer... I'd assume anywhere and everywhere is trying hard to look progressive.

I'll take Sarah Thomas over many of the CFL refs. They may have put her in the Super Bowl since the NFL made a big deal about having two females in Tampa being apart of the coaching / conditioning staff to show diversity and to try to win brownie points. Similar to how they force teams to interview black coaches. I do highly doubt though that they would put an unqualified random female just for fun to referee in the league. What I don't understand with the NFL (and other sports) is with the ridiculous amount of cameras they have , why don't they have a few refs in the booth making quick judgement calls to back up the on field refs. So many times it's obvious if someone goes off side why couldn't they radio down to throw the flag.

I don't think Lucky leaving the team makes us any worse, if anything retaining Grant might be an upgrade based off his play off performance.

It's not surprising since radio *should* be a dying business, it still really sucks. I can't imagine enough local interest in the guys going on their own and running a youtube, podcast, something else as a full time job.

Unlike satellite radio where they can play all the R rated comedy acts and bits.... I don't see how a PG comedy channel survives.

Crappy, I enjoyed the pre / post game stuff on 1290 for the Blue Bombers.

IMO the only part of the game that was weak last season was at QB... the reason we were dominant in the play offs is because we actually had a proper starting QB. Our running game and o-line were strong all season and the defense was great. The return game was decent but with J Grant it was better in the play offs. Our season makes or breaks on how the QB's play. With sub par QB play we have a season similar to our last one.

I'm thinking it's more so LaPo afraid of moving out from his comfort zone.

It was baffling on why they didn't trust him on going deep. Banks had a lot of his success by purely out running whoever was covering him and being wide open.

I don't think his 2nd year will make a big difference, I think the book on him is already known... super fast and dangerous once the ball is in his hands... it's just a matter of him making the catch is the question mark.

None, our only weak spot over the last 2 seasons has been QB and maybe at Safety. Our receivers haven't had flashy numbers but I think that's more so a result of the ball not coming to them rather then them not having talent. Lawler/Bailey were catching balls way more then whiffing on them.

I wonder if they bring back Kenny Walker also... the guy had a lot of speed.
