  1. This has been their MO for years, sadly.
  2. What a great game. Wish we still had that Garrett.
  3. With this one post you did more reporting than every media guy in the city yesterday combined. We thank you. But damn, I want to hear how the pump looked today. Is it still there? Did they replace it with another pump? Beat me to it
  4. I thought it was pretty cool that the guy was writing and performing symphonic metal at the ripe old age of 91. If I'm anywhere near as badass at that age I will have led an amazing life.
  5. The reporters do in fact ask about Richards. They did it last night in O'Shea's postgame interview (4:25)... but you won't like his answer http://www.bluebombe...index/id/110947 He clearly says Richardson. Yes, right you are, I stand corrected.

  7. Personally, I think it's great they are giving the deaf community a chance to sing at sporting events.
  8. That may be the worst Oh Canada I've ever heard.
  9. I don't actually see any questions haha, but here is the CFL schedule on the CFL.ca website: http://cfl.ca/schedule/year/2015/time_zone/0
  10. I hope you had a good time, guys. I was asleep by around 830pm. These early mornings are not my cup of craft beer.
  11. From all the high fives he's getting for being so awesome?
  12. At the practice I went to, I was keeping an eye out for him and Tuinei and neither jumped out at me. It was the Feoli-G show that day.
  13. Paul McCallum's "personal matter" is an aversion to running. No, it was the HC's aversion to Canadian kickers: From Lowell Ulrich's blog: http://blogs.theprovince.com/2015/06/04/lions-ask-mccallum-to-retire/ Good job, lions. I love that they are replacing one 'quality Canadian' with 2 unproven Americans. I hope we are looking back on 23 years of Lirim one day.
  14. You're going to go to the link Mike provided. Click Register Now. Once you're registered and logged in, look for Join a Group under the 'Social' menu. Find morning big blue, enter the password, voila you're in the group. ONE OF US. ONE OF US. Each week you're going to choose a lineup. If I recall correctly, you'll choose a QB, RB, 2 receivers, a flex, a defense, and a ST. One cool element is the salary cap; each player has a salary value, and you have a weekly cap you have to say under. Salary values I believe are based off of last year's performance. Bowman was a hell of a bargain last year, but won't be this year... It's lots of fun. Keep an eye on bye weeks and injuries and you'll do great.
  15. Came here to read about a sale on pens. I am not a smart man.
  16. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/multimedia/video/sports/free-press-blue-bombers-training-camp-report-day-3-305890741.html Wiecek and Tait talk a lot about the changes made to our D and take a couple shots at Etcheverry in the process. Someone makes a nice grab (I think) in the background starting at 2:00
  17. I agree that doing it at game speed would be pretty challenging. It's the opportunistic plays a player can make after the whistle or against a prone player that I'm thinking of. Think Kuale vs Buck or Kadri elbowing Fraser on a routine play. edited for english
  18. Do you ever worry that another team might target an injury if they knew specifically what to target? I'm not sure how unrealistic this may be, but it seems to me if a team knew a left shoulder or a wonky elbow was hurting they might go out of their way to whack it a couple times. I can understand not disclosing the details of an injury. I think an organization that holds cards close to their chest has the right idea.
  19. Oh glad you clarified I was thinking the one near Polo Park. I was gonna walk out of there all
  20. It really is the greatest time of year.
  21. Sorry, I can't make it. Since you and DoD can't make it I guess these two knuckleheads will suffice.
  22. I don't live far from there but have a very early morning on Sunday. No promises, but I'd be happy to buy two of my favorite contibutors a filthy filthy craft beer.
  23. Pretty cool to be this close. I like being up a bit higher to have a better angle on the field, and the novelty of just wandering the concourse without being packed in ass to elbow is missing somewhat... but it's far from a deal breaker. Just glad to get to see some football up close after a long off season. There is a hawk nest on top of one of the field lights, mama hawk keeps circling us eyeballing the crowd, so there is something to watch during the slow points. Though if you ask my wife, Graig Newman is plenty to look at on his own. I'll have to take her word for it.
