Being patronizing isn't conducive to a civil discussion. I never claimed a balanced budget was "economic activity", I claimed that NDP know how to balance a budget better than the CPC or Liberals (one sign of being a sound fiscal manager).

I did not confuse "economics" with "budgets" as you so say. I did not conflate them anywhere in my post.

Let the NHL come thru IGF next season.. We are hosting the biggest single game in the CFL and we get it..what, once every decade? That should definitely take precedence over a gimmick hockey game that might become an annual event..

The Bombers aren't paying down the full loan, they're just paying down the $85 million. The $10M loan from CIBC has nothing to do with the taxpayers (other than potential impact on the Bombers ability to repay the $85M), and any interest paid on the $85M isn't a taxpayer cost - the Province lent $85M to the Bombers, not $85 + interest.
