Previously this organization has had a deficit in Canadian OL quality and dept ( SOP's Taman, Kelly, Mack). To compound the problem, we didn't or couldn't commit to having the highest quality import OL guys to try and compensate for this. Never understood why, needing to play more Americans on OL - we were stuck with a plethora of sub-par imports. Drove me nuts... So, keep em coming......

Deals like this, really reinforces the feeling that Walters really gets the big picture (roster age, draft positioning, cap relief) Sometimes, you have to make the required moves (moving potential top CDN starter) in order to set yourself for future success, moving forward. Even IF.....Cory finally stays healthy....still is a very sound deal for the Blue

MOS pretty well summed this up: We need less robbing of Peter to pay Paul. You win with fundamentals, not gimmicks and gimcricks. Once other teams started putting in max protection schemes, far too many guys in the back end, were hung out to dry, in terms of iso and angles on gap cancellation. This move just had to be done. Period.

Final score: Do or Die........................1 Head and Neck Cancer...0 However it will be a while before I can raise a Bombay, in salute. Might even change my user name....to Do.
