  1. I'm thinking Simonise
  2. Well I wouldn't have minded picking up Julien Laurent at #7.
  3. Joe Mack sighting
  4. Trump getting prisoners out of the North Korean labor camps (which despite the love for Kim Jong Un by some on this site, are rife with human rights abuses). I wonder if the three men whose lives have been saved are worried about Trump diddling a porn star?
  5. Roslovic is clearly the better player than Hendricks at this point, the only thing I can really guess at is that Hendricks is a left shot and Roslovic a right shot, so Armia comes in for Roslovic. But that's pretty soft.
  6. They've been sheltering Chiarot a bit in this series. He only got 17 minutes in the double OT game and 11 minutes on Tuesday. I don't disagree that his game has improved a ton, but I get the feeling if Kulikov was ready they wouldn't hesitate to get him back in the lineup.
  7. New CBA coming this offseason and the cap is expected to rise by more than the usual annual 50k so it's not that laughable. And we could do the same thing next year as last year... bring in a "today" player and a "future" player. I don't know why you have such a problem with this.
  8. So it's settled. We must find a way to trade for Jimmy Ralph.
  9. No and I never did. They're old school Republicans who hate Trump. Even worse than Dems.
  10. Alternatively, we moved down 5 spots to get an additional first rounder next year that could very well be a top 3 pick. Glass half empty, glass half full.
  11. Well that insightful comment definitely warrants necroing this old thread
  12. I just find it funny that Democrats celebrate the fact that Obama got a Nobel peace prize for doing literally nothing while Trump had a big part in warming relations between SK and NK and Dems can't spin fast enough to try to turn it into a negative.
  13. That's an obvious win for me. Thanks.
  14. Watson had one fewer yard and eleven fewer catches but he did have one TD to Ralph's zero. I'll call that one a tie at best but as a whole I still think Jimmy's year was better. Still, that was 2010 and outside of Watson, no one else even comes close. I'd take Jimmy Ralph on our team for sure.
  15. Right that's what I meant. Put Armia back in.
  16. Yeah I have no problem with Roslovic but if the question is whether you take him out for Armia... I wouldn't even think twice.
  17. Jimmy Ralph. No one used a draft pick on him... he went undrafted and came in, played 16 games and put up 26 receptions for 278 yards. Better rookie season than any Canadian receiver we've drafted in the last 30 years or so.
  18. This is actually a great trade for Montreal.
  19. Roslovic hasn't been great and he took a bad penalty that cost us a goal last night. I'd take him out for Armia in a heartbeat.
  20. Then clearly you aren't paying attention. Trump forced China to start respecting the economic sanctions against NK. That's what this is really all about. Try actually following the news and not just what some porn star says Trump did in his hotel room. TMZ isn't the best source for international news, ya know?
  21. That feeling when you hate someone so much you'd rather see them fail horribly than achieve world peace. See my earlier comment about Dems wanting to see the country burn rather than be successful. Sums it up quite nicely.
  22. I found his comments on Speller to be pretty interesting: Obviously he is going to talk up his players but it sounds like Speller will get a legitimate shot. Or maybe he's just Mitchell Baines 2.0
  23. It's a huge question with many facets. How is the U.S. doing in what way? Economically? Socially? Internationally? Militarily? Someone whose primary concern is the economy would say the US is doing quite well. Someone whose primary concern is how the US is viewed by the United Nations, might have a very different opinion. "How well a country is doing" is difficult to quantify.
  24. I totally agree. His methods may be debatable but the results are not. It worked. Keaton was a great Batman.
  25. I won't pretend to be that guy, because I'm not. But I'm sure one of our liberal friends here would love to pretend they can give an objective, unbiased take on this.
