OK I'll get back to you in 20 years.

At this point I'm confident Demski, Wolitarsky, and Simonise will be on the opening day roster. Thera-Plamondon and Tyrone Pierre are pretty much exclusively special teams guys (but could make the roster as the fourth NI receiver based on that). LaFrance may factor into the receiver picture at times, meaning we only dress one backup NI receiver. Petermann and Henry could both use some practice roster time, IMO.

I don't see any way we can afford to keep Wheeler unfortunately.
-
No way he gets 8M. That's too high.

It works in our favour that Trouba doesn't put up big numbers. You can question the value of points totals in determining how good a defenceman plays but it still plays a huge role in contract negotiations.
-
Love seeing this. I wonder what the price tag will be? 6 mil? More? Less? Defencemen salaries are hard to predict.

Round 3 - Game 2: Golden Knights at Jets

Buff was the only one that actually saw what was going on and tried to get back into the play.... really bad change by all five guys on the ice and bruuuuutal giveaway by KC -
As if Israel is the only issue here. It's not like Palestinians are eager to get back to the negotiating table. Let's not forget Camp David. There are two sides at play and neither one seems eager for a resolution. And both sides are guilty of widespread violence against the other.

You can't really argue that it wasn't a poor decision for his career.

Yeah... Even I found it a little distasteful. However the "fair Middle East peace agreement" is a pipe dream. It's been long enough that I think we can all see that's never going to happen.

Round 3 - Game 2: Golden Knights at Jets

Just another one of those games. It's tough at this point and if you ain't on, you ain't winning. I'm not worried. -
I would disagree. People have been dying in droves in Palestine for years because no president was willing to commit to a resolution. Trump recognizing Jerusalem as the capital moves them closer to resolving the conflict. The dream of a two state solution is dying. Unfortunately change brings conflict and conflict brings violence. But decades of fence sitting by previous presidents did nothing but extend the deadlock. Trump deserves credit for a actually taking steps towards a resolution, even if it's not resolution you'd like. Did you ever really think the issues in Israel and Palestine were going to be resolved peacefully?
-
Oh now every person who dies in Israel and Palestine is Trump's fault? That's a reach.

Round 3 - Game 2: Golden Knights at Jets

Well that settles it. Enstrom has to come out of the lineup now that Jan Kostalek is available. -
I thought we could use BC's. But I'm still a little confused by the wording on 3DN - Reverse order would put us 3rd, no?
-
Honestly I'm not even sure what the issue is here. Sounds like a typical relationship. Even with a power imbalance that's not necessarily wrong. Maybe I am missing some details.
-
Could be though? 3rd overall if I'm understanding the rules correctly.
-
When you're talking about a (former) government employee and an elected official, I think it's fair to say that's a power imbalance. Certainly if the veteran was female and the MP male, it wouldn't even be a question.

It is definitely more common to sign with the original club but players sign elsewhere fairly regularly. Hard to put a number on it without going through on a case-by-case basis. Rich mentioned Okpalaugo... there was also Quincy McDuffie and Mitchell White last year.
-
Probably should have kept JFG at least.

The funny thing is that he wouldn't even have to make a splash. If he were to come into the league on a two-year-deal and just stay out of trouble for the length of the deal, he would be only 27 years old and could easily get some NFL interest. He wouldn't even have to play. Just show that he can be part of a team and not cause trouble and controversy. But he'll never understand that.

So now mob justice against senior citizens is acceptable...? Sorry but while the caption on the tweet may be misleading and the actual events leading to the beating are in question (for some reason your "snopes" accepts one side of this he-said-she-said without question... hmmm), the result is quite clear. There are some areas of Europe where vigilante mob justice is the norm and the local police stay away. Tell me... does it seem believable that this man was asked to put away his drink and then his son attacked the wait staff? I mean.. really? And even if that is accurate, it doesn't excuse mob justice being handed down.

Tharold Simon is legit. Played at LSU.... good size, good speed, NFL experience. Usually these last-minute additions are guys they've been waiting on for awhile and finally decided to come up to Canada. Really nice addition.

Hi Bud. Thanks for the rundown. Right now it would appear that Alex Ross has the inside track on the backup QB job but a lot can change between now and June 14. I know this coaching staff likes consistency above all else, especially from the QB position. So Alex is going to have to come in and perform every day. After spending a year with the Lions, expectations will be higher than those for a raw rookie. We need a strong backup and it would be great if Alex could be that guy. He has a huge opportunity in front of him.
