Yes, my first reaction was that it sets up a US Title match at Royal Rumble between the two of them, where Kalisto will likely win it back. That match couldn't happen if Kalisto hadn't won the title from Del Rio because it would look silly. Now Kalisto has some legitimacy and ADR has built even more real heat as a heel, they can have him refuse to fight Kalisto until RR, and give Kalisto a chance to cut some good promos in the lead up. No, for all the mistakes WWE makes, I don't mind how they are handling this feud. Could see a card of Owens vs Ambrose for the IC, Kalisto vs ADR for the US, and Charlotte vs Becky for the Women's, plus obviously the Rumble itself. Setting up a good PPV! Now let's just hope Lesnar wins the Rumble!

I remember him using the "Better Than Perfect" gimmick while in WWE so he didn't totally drop all the Mr Perfect stuff until later. And I believe it is Social Outcast, not Social Injustice, not that it really matters. I don't mind Heath Slater, he is at least decent. It does seem weird to just throw a bunch of nobodies together but I guess the roster is hurting right now. Kinda feel for Ziggler but I would agree that he needs a bit of a revamp. Not sure there's anyone else who has fallen quite as far as he has. He's great in the ring but I've never really liked him on the mic.

Not sure that's even remotely accurate. Defensive line was one of the strengths of that team and we had Doug Brown and Jon Oosterhuis backing him up, with Donny O in the prospect pipeline. Criticize Donny O if you want but he's an 8 year CFLer and Doug Brown... Well his career speaks for itself.

Tate knows he is in an incredibly comfortable position and he seems to be okay with that. He gets paid six figures to stand on the sidelines and get his name printed on the Grey Cup every few years. It's remarkable that a guy with his laissez faire attitude could get to the level he's at but all the power in the world to him for knowing exactly what makes him happy and putting himself in a position to enjoy it for as long as possible.

As for the rest of the team, my concern before the season was our depth and it still is my main concern. This team has been extremely healthy all year, not losing any skaters to long term injuries. Take a guy like Little, Wheeler, or Scheifele out for the long term and I'm scared to see what would happen. Or any top 4 defenceman for that matter. Chiarot was okay with big Buff last year but I'd rather not test that again...

The difference is that Hutch played like a crazy person (fast movement and very reactionary, tough to be consistent with that style) and had already had a rough ride to get where he was with the Jets. Hellebuyck has been incredible at every level he has played at, he's remarkably sound positionally, and doesn't show the signs of someone who is just on a hot streak. I'd bet the farm on Helle being "the guy" for the long term. And my farm is ******* beautiful.

Giving Hellebuyck anything other than an A++ is totally bogus. He is the only reason the Jets aren't dead last right now. He owns one of the best save percentages in the entire league and he is a rookie. He's slow to react??? Come on...

True. Consider if Mace hadnt had health issues and we waited for him, we would have had a top d-lineman for a few years rather than nothing at all like we ended up with. It's an interesting problem that you really can't compare with any other league. Have to judge whether a guy will ever get cut by the NFL, whether he is a fit for the CFL, and whether he would consider continuing his playing career up here. Very difficult for a GM to make that decision and judge an "adequate" return.

I seriously question the value of a late first round pick. When you are trading a player as a rental, it generally goes to a playoff team so the first round pick is in the 16-30 range. Having more picks is always a good thing but I think people overstate the effect on a team that a pick like that will have. I would be more aggressively pursuing prospects who are already a year or two into their pro careers so it is less of a crap shoot. First round pick sounds great but not all first round picks are equal.

The difference is that Durant basically hasn't played in 2 years now. Ray and Willy at least have taken significant reps and Ray showed he can still play and is healthy. Ray has gotta be way higher than Durant at this point.

I missed the part where you commented on his job as president. The question was not how much you admire the man, but how good of a job he is doing as president. Of course we don't know the day to day operations so the only way to judge is on what the public has seen since he took over.
