  1. Nice!!!
  2. I believe the pre game show is 2 hours, starting at 6. CJOB the same.
  3. 1.4 billion seems a bit steep. WHO do they think they are? New York City???
  4. Yeah it's on the first page of this thread. Looks like their starting OL will play but probably for a similar amount of time as our own.
  5. Yeah I don't know, it's pre-season for the broadcasters too I guess. Thought it was bizarre that with 3 or 4 minutes left they had the whole panel on commentary just chatting. But whatever, I was happy to see some CFL football on TV, and to be honest it was a pretty good game too. I didn't even realize Ryan Lindley was signed by Ottawa. I remember him from his days with the AZ Cardinals and he actually did pretty well tonight. Really took advantage of some extended play time.
  6. Drew Willy's stat line tonight: 8/12 (66.67%) with 0 TD and 0 INT. Took the team on 3 drives and scored a field goal. Lots of short passes. Very Drew Willy.
  7. Because nobody cares about the facts. Both sides were sure they were right before a single word was spoken.
  8. As far as random American CFL blogs go, that's actually not a bad read. I don't agree with all the opinions but at least he seems to have the facts right.
  9. Totally agree. They've done a nice job building up the roster for a team that was basically rudderless during free agency. I'm not sure about their plan on the OL though, last time I looked they were trying out Jamal Campbell (Canadian 2016 draft pick) at left tackle and that seems like wishful thinking. I'd be concerned with their secondary and receiving corps as well but if Ricky Ray can stay healthy.... they have as a good a shot as any Eastern team.
  10. No question.... Connor still has huge potential so I wouldn't lump him in there because that's two different things... but if it came down to Perreault vs Copp/Armia/Dano... Perreault is better now and probably for at least a few years into the future as well.
  11. What is "news" is determined by the number of people who will read it. And for whatever reason, the personal lives of celebrities attract a lot of views.
  12. Lol gotta love this. COTTON throws a hail mary with that question.
  13. Pretty low risk move. 5th rounder is a good price for a Div 2 star LB.
  14. The fancy stats love Perreault
  15. Yeah he fumbled a lot. Pretty explosive returner but if you can't hang on to the ball....
  16. I guess they can add a guy back on to the neg list if they only sign him to the practice roster? The DB, Eric Patterson, whose rights we apparently acquired is a free agent who spent time in the NFL with the Patriots, Rams and Browns before being released by the Browns in training camp 2016.
  17. Remember this too. Perry Floyd was getting all the hype but I thought Denmark was the best for one reason.... he simply never dropped the ball. I mean most guys will have a drop or two in drills and whatnot but Denmark caught every single ball that came anywhere near him no matter the circumstances. And I'd still put his hands up against anyone in the league.
  18. Yeah, I think most people would agree. It's not a surprise to see Shaun King attempting to blow this out of proportion. I believe that the use of violence by Islamic extremists and domestic terrorists like white supremacist groups and antifa to intimidate people is a much greater and more imminent threat to our society. Rational discourse never killed anybody.
  19. Trump will almost assuredly be out of power by the time these spending increases begin to take effect. And I'm not sure why Canada should be expected to fill any void in NATO vacated by the U.S. Are the other allies stepping up their spending as well?
  20. Incredible from start to finish. One of my favourite scenes ever.
  21. I'm not sure that this is allowed. Usually I just put it up on imgur and link from there. http://imgur.com/ Click "New Post" and you're pretty much done.
  22. I thought it was a pretty funny story
  23. I see no problem with allowing people to share their opinion, even if it is bigoted and ridiculous. I trust that most people can see this and judge for themselves whether it is reasonable or not. I actually think we want these ideas to get into the mainstream so they can be considered and summarily dismissed by the population.
