  1. Back problems or not, if the drugs you're on have you that intoxicated that you pass out behind the wheel, you shouldn't be behind the wheel. A prescription isn't a license to drive intoxicated. There's a reason they put those warnings on the bottle.
  2. That would be a valid point if most refugees lives were in danger (some are, the vast majority are not). There is a big difference between importing 20-35 year old men en masse to our country and defending the rights of an unborn child who cannot defend itself.
  3. He is the most CFL-experienced MLB on the roster. Make one of the Americans beat him for the spot. Shouldn't be that hard.
  4. That's too bad. I just saw that he is not anti-gay but I guess that's the best we can hope for from the conservatives in today's political climate.
  5. I'd be a lot more comfortable if Knox/Temple had some starting experience. I like how the Stamps do it.... bring in a vet and cut him if the rookie is better, ala MLBs Reed and Singleton last year.
  6. I don't know much about the new Conservative leader Scheer but it seems that he is looking to be somewhat progressive. Hard to tell. Would be nice if we could have a party that sits in the centre more than the hard-right Harper conservatives and hard-left liberals/NDP. And don't try to convince me the liberals are in the centre.... that ship sailed long ago.
  7. It's funny, most of Mulroney's policies today would be seen as very liberal... bringing in a new sales tax, taking a stand against Apartheid, and taking measures to protect the environment. Unfortunately people don't like new taxes and he had a face that just made you want to punch him... but looking back he actually had a very successful tenure as PM.
  8. He has some starting experience as well.

  10. I'd been inactive on OB for quite some time until seeing Noeller tweet about this place. Thought I was done arguing with people about the Bombers and CFL but it reignited my addiction which is going strong to this day.
  11. Good question... I feel like the abrupt retirements of Garrett Waggoner and Ryan Smith may have left us with some space but it's impossible to know for sure.
  12. He is 30 but he did play in all 18 games last year and put up some pretty big stats. I wouldn't mind seeing him here if we have the cap space. We can keep our best MLB prospect around in case Woods gets hurt and then we're in no worse situation than if we hadn't picked him up.

  14. It's a Doug eat Doug world out there.
  15. Classic 17to85.... see this could have been something you posted 15 years ago on TotalCFL or CFLZone or whatever the main site was at the time.... I respect the consistency of character
  16. Best TC report so far, thanks Cody
  17. Agreed, it almost never happens. It is also my understanding that one spot is protected from poaching if it is filled by a draft pick from the current year
  18. Pekka Rinne has just been too good and I don't see it stopping now.
  19. NSH takes the Cup 4-1
  20. Pretty small sample size lol
  21. Intzandt yes... Spooner I don't think will be on the PR. They will have a place for him on the roster.
