Yeah probably. I just think you go out and find the six best defencemen and let them play. Overall talent level is more important than which side they play on. I honestly think if you threw Buff on the left side he would thrive there. A guy with a shot like his would absolutely crush it in the offensive zone on his off-side.

I guess they saw Jake Thomas filling in on the OL one too many times and have decided to not let that happen again.

The "average" is nice but it doesn't hold up in reality because some games you'll hit it 100% of the time and some games 0% of the time. And when you lose that game by 2 points and you went 0/3 on 2-point conversions you're singing a very different tune!
