  1. Presenting a typical scenario inside the command centre as a pass interference non-call is challenged:

Reviewer 1: Oh yeah that looks like pass interference to me.

Reviewer 2: Yes it does, I agree.

Reviewer 3: Yep that's pass interference.

1: But is it clear and obvious?

2: We have to keep in mind we're looking at it in slow motion.

3: Right. That's unfair to our officials. In real time, it was close. If it was CLEAR AND OBVIOUS, the officials would have called it! They are pros.

1: I agree. It could be clearer and obviouser.

2: Yes. It looks like pass interference but for me it's not clear and obvious enough.

3: So we're all in agreement. There was pass interference but it was not clear and obvious enough. Therefore the non-call stands. Great work gentlemen.

1, 2, and 3 in unison: We deserve a raise!

Probably more Maccochia and their scouting dept. than Maas, who's failed to find much success in any other system he's been involved with.

Maas might be underrated as a coach, I'd say he's been successful pretty much everywhere but Saskatchewan. Won a Grey Cup as QB coach with the Argos and coached the Redblacks offence to a major turnaround as their OC in 2015.

His time in Edmonton was a mixed bag but not terrible either, he made the playoffs 3 out of 4 seasons and won a semi final game each time. They've gone 13-46 since firing him after an 8-10 season in 2019.

Vendetta? No, hates him? No. Just that oshea doesn't make moves unless he absolutely has to even if they might make the team better. Kolankowski stepped in for an injury and held the fort and now he is untouchable. Eli was away for a year and dropped on the depth chart and can't move up because no one is getting hurt.

I'm just not convinced that Eli is that much of an upgrade. He may be. But nothing I've seen so far shows that for sure. You're going to pull your starting centre and gamble on his replacement? What if Eli gets trucked on his first 2 snaps like he did at guard? I agree Kola is nothing special but I don't think he's some anchor dragging the whole line down that desperately needs replacement.

Before the vaccine issue Eli was ahead of gray on the depth chart... then upon return he can't get ahead of anyone? That doesn't make sense, especially knowing the limitations kolankowski has.

So what are you suggesting exactly? O'Shea just has a personal vendetta against Eli? Why not cut him at the beginning of the year if he hates him so much? Or even advise Walters not to sign him at all? This thought that O'Shea hates certain players on his roster is just nuts to me.
