    So the riders play the bombers x3 and the lions x3 this season, and have dropped a game to each so far.

     

    If they lose next week to the lions, and one of the labour day or banjo bowl, they'll have lost the tie breaker to both teams.

     

    I see Wpg, BC and Sask probably battling for 3-4-5 in the west.

     

    so it's week 4, but might be a "must win" game already for them.

    Lawless said yesterday that Jabar Westerman is on the trade block again. Apparently he got himself in more trouble.

     

    Im a sucker for family reunion. I hope KW trade for him.

     

    Two words - Cauchy Muamba.

     

     

    LOL - we know Jabar Westerman is not Cauchy Muamba

     

    Yah, I know, just trying to temper the MBB circle jerk mentality of "his brother is great so he must be great - we have to sign him" that was prevalent when Henoc Muamba was around (or when Brett Cameron was going to be the next CFL all-star punter, so we had to trade up to draft him). Sign him if the skills (and any off-field baggage issues) justify it, not because he shares DNA traits with another player. Family ties do not ensure greatness, just ask Brett Gretzky.

     

    Well at the time it wasn't JUST that Henoc was good so people figured Cauchy must be good too, Cauchy was seen as a decent safety as well. He didn't progress and the rest is history but it wasn't just a case of getting a brother here because of the family name. 

     

    Yes he was.......by Joe Mack. 'Nuff said.

     

    by everyone, I swear the amount of revisionist history that goes on around these parts is insane. 

     

     

    I for one thought he was terrible his last year in BC and had concerns about his abilities to play safety before he even stepped on the field in a Bomber jersey.

    Id give willy the entire 2nd half, who knows maybe itll come down to some very important clock management practice by games end. In any case I've always felt 2nd half performances are much more crucial then opening the game. 

     

    The problem with that is the caliber of players at that point of the game is much much lower. Willy will get his time with the starting O line and Receivers (to start at least)

    One thing to consider is how much you want your house insurance to do.

     

    My opinion is that it's not very useful for a lot of things they say it covers. Any smaller claims (less than 10k), are usually not worth it, as once you factor in your deductible and how much your rates are going to be going up in the upcoming years, you are better off just paying out of pocket. Your mileage may vary, but it's something to look into.

  25. CFL & TSN extend broadcast rights to 2021

    Thursday night games are horrible for the NFL but they work for NCAA and CFL. Especially in the CFL in summer months its best to get as many games on in the week as possible. that is why getting 1 more team to make it a 5 game week would be best. You can have 2 Thur double - same on friday and 1 saturay or 1 sunday. matchup thursday night games to be the night for montreal  (as they enjoy those games) or ottawa.

     

    Thursday games do not work in the NFL it hurts the product and makes bad tv even if your fave team is playing. 

     

    After labor day, I believe all Montreal home games are Sunday afternoon games due to the neighborhood the stadium is located in.
