Hall most likely to be new DC (Now Official)
Not sure on the deets but it was tweeted by one of the CFL reporters that Bene wouldn't have a payout to sit on for the year, because his extension hadn't yet taken effect...

Shawn Coates former Media Relations WBB
Just got the call about this. He and I had some mutual media friends, who are all really beat up over this. I met him once, at CountryFest, and ever since we talked a lot on FB and Twitter. A monster supporter of not only pro sports but amateur sports at the CIS level, in Manitoba. A hell of a guy...he'll be missed.

Just had one pop over the other day on a day's notice. It makes sense to me that tradespeople, or just people in general, would avoid Iso and his rage issues...

If you were the GM...
Not everyone worries about that Yes, you're right, that's pretty much what I said. Try this: draw a circle with a radius of about a day's drive -- say 800km -- centered on Edmonton or Calgary or Regina. Then draw the same radius around Montreal. See how many more cities and people are in the Montreal radius? I've driven the country coast-to-coast and it's astonishing how wonderful the west is.

Hall most likely to be new DC (Now Official)
Not an official announcement. They don't make those on the weekend.Who cares about the official announcement...these decisions always leak on Twitter way before the official announcement. Because the tweets are not always correct. Nothing is official until the the team says it. You're stuck in the 80s!! Twitter announced Etch was the Bombers DC like a month before the official announcement. and this time last week we thought Hall was a guarantee because of Twitter......

Riders release; Bombers sign Dominic Picard
If Pat Neufeld is healthy, he starts the season at either RG or RT....that guy is a damn good OL when healthy. The record of the team with him in the line-up vs out, was dramatically different, and you can make the case that he's a big part of that.

Bombers sign Long Snapper Tim Cronk
Gotta stop being so critical of Fitzy, in terms of offense. Stop thinking of things purely in terms of Offense and Defense. You need the ST demon guys, and Fitzy's a real good one. If nothing else, he's real quality depth.

Bombers sign Long Snapper Tim Cronk
Well, he was a character in Emperor's New Groove, and I'm not sure if that was an actual spin off, or if someone just did a JPG up for some reason. I did a Google Image search because I knew I'd heard the name before, but couldn't remember when or where....

Fitzy has a million uses. Guys like that? They'll play anywhere on the field and they'll try harder than most of the guys coming outta the US anyhow...- Leafs fire Carlyle
Kessel and Phaneuf are both huge cancerous tumours on that organization. Both desperately need to be traded but you'd have to eat serious % of contract in order to do it.- Ian Wild has NFL contract in hand
Doug Brown seems to be pretty impossible to replace We could have drafted several since he left, but we didn't. What Canadian DL in the CFL is just as good as Doug Brown? I certainly don't know of any In defense to the WBB, we have drafted "New Doug Brown" but he's so good he's in the NFL...- Unofficial Free Agent List
Don't bad mouth Labbe because he was a solid loyal foot soldier. Loved that kid... - Bombers sign Long Snapper Tim Cronk
