I've been waiting for someone to acknowledge the relative insanity of Marshall Ferguson's blog post....

I can't even tell you how bad I want this.... Not because I'm some big Lankford fan, but man I love seeing big, harsh criticisms get shot down...

We really just need to lock this down and move on. I hate Riders "fans" with every fibre of my being and that will never change. When they show up here, I ignore them as much as possible. Just let..... It..... Go. /Thread

https://www.cfl.ca/2017/09/01/progress-report-ferguson-breaks-first-half/ Winnipeg Blue Bombers 7-2 (2nd in West) What’s worked The evolution many Bombers fans were hoping to see from Matt Nichols has come to fruition. Nichols is efficient and knows when to take a risk. Most of that success is dictated by Nichols’ surroundings. He has the best offensive line in the CFL right now, Paul LaPolice is using tempo to wear down defences and Andrew Harris is having a special year One last thing, the fans at Investors Group Field have been incredible this year. BOMBERS QUARTERBACK MATT NICHOLS HAS NOT SHIED AWAY FROM HIS BREAKOUT 2016 PERFORMANCE (THE CANADIAN PRESS) What needs fixing The Bombers need more from their young players, specifically their young Canadians. Julian Feoli Gudino and Taylor Loffler have been bright spots but the Bombers are not consistently deploying any players from their 2017 draft class and need to develop some national talent while winning now in order to promise future success. Possible award nominees Most Outstanding Canadian: Andrew Harris or Taylor Loffler Most Outstanding Player: Andrew Harris or T.J. Heath Most Outstanding Special Teams Player: Justin Medlock or Kyle Knox Most Outstanding Rookie: Brian Walker or Cory Johnson

Feel more and more confident in this game with each passing day. I have faith because we are just flat-out a better team than they are. We have more talent and we have better coaching. We'll find a way.

Once... In the Calgary game..... To my knowledge.

I had a roommate from Lafleche/Woodrow at that time, and he is DIE HARD....real rabid, had tix during the Al Ford years kinda diehard......and another one of our buddies is born and raised Hamilton (tho is a famous TV personality from Yorkton/Regina...) and even had a family member that was a TiCat back in the 40s......so anyhow, it was a GONG SHOW between the two of them that night as we watched the game at a quasi-house party. I'll never forget it....a wild night.

YOU KNOW HE GOES ABOUT 8 FOOT 3!!

I'm hoping it's the Riders a la 2003......man, that was a great night...

So let's say the guy doesn't show well again, gets cut, and is available to us. Is it a worry that he didn't show well? Should we be concerned about his future even at this level?

Don't forget that Szarka was as good or better than Sellers.. That was one of his frequent talking points, too....

Lionguy is generally solid, that dude from the TiCats that hangs around isn't so bad........all Riders fans can get ****** as far as I'm concerned. I know a LOT of people who claim to be Riders fans, and maybe a handful know anything about football. **** 'em all....

QFT......

that whole area is going to be epic...man I can't wait for that!

I really feel like Denmark can fill that role that Thorpe has been....the "Nik Lewis" thing that's been mentioned here. Adams and Dressler stretch the field, Denmark and whichever NI Rec is out there are reliable "Hands" guys...

#FortHeh

Ya, the only real issue I see is our constipation (see: lack of Poop).....whether he's hurt, or whatever, we need that guy rotating in there. Our O/KR will be fine...

https://www.cfl.ca/2017/08/31/stamps-acquire-ol-guy-trade-riders/ CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have completed a trade with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, acquiring national offensive lineman Dillon Guy in exchange for the rights to national defensive back Adam Laurensse, the team announced Thursday.

this was my first thought, too....I wasn't 100% sure he was still with the team, but this made the most sense...

....and you don't think Trouba should be one of the faces featured.....? ......Unless......................

In my head, Denmark slides into that spot and is the "safety valve" receiver......but we certainly do have options...

TO BLASZKO!!!!!

The more important thing to note is that we have a larger core of diehards who support the team (with asses in the stands) during LONG bouts of losing (unfortunately) whereas the Riders "fan" base only shows up when it's cool and trendy to do so...

Pretty sure.....but even if it's not......is this really some kind of *BREAKING NEWS* !!!!!!!! kinda story??

I believe that was a joke, no...?
