Lock of the Week 4
Are we still alive with 3 strikes or is that it... We're out...? If still alive, I'll take Jeremiah Johnson...

Top 50 CFL Players (opinion)
Riders fans... Guy plays Defense... Guy plays Offense. Even then, only right some of the time. League's most knowledgeable fan base, my ass...

Drew Wolitarsky
It'll take some serious injuries for this guy to see anything but PR this season. He'll have to earn a spot on kick cover teams first, and if he excels there, he might see time on O next year....

Game Day Driving Experience
We stayed right till the end and had no problems exiting the building. As always, parked at Barley Bros and walked over. Great experience all around, aside from the game itself...

3 stars and HH week 2
This is such a great description of how I was last night and, to a degree, still am this morning. I'm still at a point in my life where a Bombers loss puts me in a "salty" mood the whole week till next game.

Some Positives
Not sure what's more gross...the taste of Shock Top, or the fact that you actually paid money for that ****.

Stamps @ Bombers: Game Day Thread
If we keep losing the turnover battle it's gonna be a loooooong season. I knew that barely beating the lowly Riders last week was bad news, but I didn't think we were *this* bad...

What an epic levels pants shitting on O and D. Wild hurt for who knows how long. Everything summed up by Adams dropping a gimme in the bread basket. What a shitty night.

Thanks guys! Have had some awsome brews and food. Heather loved the Beer Cheese Soup and I had the Pulled Pork at OGC. Fantastic. Milk Stout was as great as advertised and will be even better when they fix the carbonation on the next batch...

Stamps @ Bombers: Game Day Thread
Doing a taproom tour to prime up this afternoon. Started at Little Brown Jug, more very on to Half Pints, then One Great City a bit later. Absolutely gorgeous day for pints in the city. No word of a lie, when we sat down with a taster flight at HPs, Bachman's "Prairie Town" came on the speaker. Fantastic...

C'mon, people... Its almost Noon! Let's get it going! BLM has never lost at IGF... Seems like a good day to break a bad streak. Stoked to be home for my first home opener since I last had seasons tix in 07. Gonna be a great night at the barn. Pregame pints at Barley Bros then let's kick some Stamps ass, yo!

Lock of the Week 3
I think I'll go Harris again and hope he's used a bit more this time!

Mic'D Up - Weston Dressler
I think my favourite part was Dressler coaching up young players on the sideline and just how vocal he was I general. Love that type of personality in the heat of battle.

Golfing in Manitoba
We definitely have some nice ones in AB. It goes without saying that the courses in the Mountains (Kananaskis, Canmore, Banff) are ridiculous, but one of the best courses in the whole province (maybe Top 5, for me) is Innisfail, about 15 minutes south of Red Deer. Just incredible. Also, in Olds, we made Golf Digest "Top 50 Courses For Under $50" in North America. Awesome links style course that's always in great shape.

Golfing in Manitoba
So I'm born and raised in Pinawa and am biased but I believe it's the nicest public course in Manitoba. Stunningly beautiful and really tough to score low, especially if you've never played it. Some long and narrow holes. Bring lots of golf balls and be prepared to get a cart cause you don't wanna walk it! Clear Lake is nice, but in my mind is overrated. If you're in t Parkland area, do yourself a favour and play Gilbert Plains instead. Gorgeous course!! Minnewasta is one of my faves... Gorgeous finishing hole... One of the nicest in Manitoba. We have a cabin at Victoria Beach, so we play Grand Pines a fair bit and our little resort 9er in VB... Both are nice for what they are.

Reassessing Chris Jones' Riders
Ya I thought Alexander was mostly good. It was Carmichael who got picked on most, but as has been reported this week, MOS says he's got a really tough assignment that'll take a bit to learn, and in the meantime, other guys have to help him out...

Reassessing Chris Jones' Riders
Bruce Johnson was 6 game IRed.... He's out awhile, so the new guys gonna have to learn quickly...
