and I'll go to bat in saying that he, along with Henry Burris, is one of the most overrated players in league history. AC/Burris/Allen don't belong in the same breath as Flutie, Moon, Ray and Dunigan.....IMO.

Not nearly enough love for Doug Brown in this thread. Greatest DT in league history, American or Canadian, and moved to town full time to give back in a number of ways. He's everything you could ask for of a professional athlete in your community.

Doug Brown probably favourite Bomber. Everything that I would want to cheer for. Jamie Stoddard a close second. Least favourite is tough to pick. I kind of want to say Charles Roberts for his role in the 2007 GC debacle (and possibly 2001...)

also brewing this morning, the NHL/NHLPA are close to ratifying an extension to the current CBA which would include the NHL returning to the next two Winter Olympics. (Huzzah!)

Bradley is a cheap *******. Yes his money kept franchises afloat, but just barely, and I don't think he ever turned any of those franchises into anything more than a tax write off. I can't stand both of those franchises and didn't want either of them to get Lafreniere. Seems there's still a good shot Montreal gets him and that would suck, too, but I'll cross that bridge later....

I know I'm late to the party, but I've found myself off work for a bit and I've been bingeing Hank Azaria's Brockmire. Really enjoying it for the most part. Some of the hardcore "partying" is a little intense for me, but all of the baseball stuff and cameos from some legendary broadcasters is pretty great. Quite a few LOL moments...
