  1. Please for the love of god make this happen! It's on my Mt. Rushmore of TV shows.
  2. She was NDP and actually turned out to be pretty good at it once she got in, and got reelected. The story usually leaves out that part of it. She won reelection in the 2015 federal election with a larger vote share despite her party falling from second to third place nationally https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Ellen_Brosseau
  3. Because we all know how this is going to be applied. January 6 wasn't a protest after all.
  4. I'm not really crazy about going down this rabbit hole of an argument, but it's clear that blue states are more urban, more densely populated. Trump also flat out admitted that he would provide assistance to red states, and not so much blue states. If that isn't "blood on his hands" I don't know what is. If you aren't looking at the whole picture, then you aren't getting the whole story.
  5. That's such a huge flaw in the system. How individual states get to determine who votes, where their vote counts and how they vote in a federal election boggles my mind.
  6. Well at least that's consistent with the MAGAts- refuse to look at the evidence, but believe wild theories that have zero basis. At this point, they don't even want or care about the truth or facts.
  7. Two big things to be seen before I decide who won the trade; Do Laine and PLD sign with their new teams? My guess is we'll have a lot better chance with PLD's dad around. Laine could very well still be on the move and a rental for CBJ When they sign long term, how much? Sounds like Laine is gonna be expecting a huge payday, and he'll get it get it somewhere because of the "flashiness". PLD may very well be a better value . Could we have fit Laine's contact and keep key pieces? I doubt it.
  8. Would certainly be nice, but I'm sure it's just posturing, but when t comes time to vote he won't do it.

    Covid-19

That's just it. You can't tell me 1000's of people a day going through a Walmart, Costco, or Canadian tire is safer than being in a small store, or an establishment such as this that already had stringent protocols in place. Restaurants and bars (or family gatherings) I get- they've been proven to be spreaders. That's what I've seen and heard from a lot of people that are pissed off about the lockdown. It's not often that they deny, it's a hoax, or what ever, it's that the decisions made seem so arbitrary, do not appear to be with thoughts to actually protect the community, and favour large corporations over smaller workplaces. I did like that guy's response though. He certainly didn't come off as being entitled or above the law.
  10. No kidding that runs deep- wow!
  11. I know exactly what you mean. I dip my toes in there just to try to see their perspective, and I can only last a few minutes before I say to myself, "WTF is going on? Where does that come from?" Scary how many people apparently immerse themselves in that. It's not as hard to see how Nazi Germany got to where they were, or other instances.
  12. For Strev, I think it would have made a big difference if the team knew right away he'd have to play significant minutes. The coaches can game plan around his strengths, and he could get 1st team reps. you see that everywhere, starter goes down, back up and team have to go in there and try to adjust. The Rams back up got that when they knew Goff would be out. Murray went down early in the game, huge difference. Not to mention that Rams D looking for some juicy stats when Murray went down.

    Covid-19

Glad that has changed and they are starting to hand out fines. I think the protest and subsequent fall out forced the province's hand. Hopefully that $$ goes into health care.

And yet no one was fined. The province is putting all this talk into enforcement but when people know they aren't going to enforce it, it's just useless talk. When they only fined one person at the rally, the Organizer, their inaction spoke volumes. Until they start holding people accountable that are clearly and knowingly violating orders nothing is gonna change.
  15. The play that sticks out for me is the Thiadric Hansen special teams hit and the timing. Bombers scored a major and Hamilton would be looking to counter in a still close game. That hit told Hamilton they were in for a fight and the Bombers weren't gonna take the foot off the gas and were gonna put the other one on their necks.
  16. .... and I've found my new profile pic!
  17. Holy **** that was worse than I thought. That pat on the hip was disgusting as well and nullified that whole argument of 'tucking in shirt'. As the parent of a teen daughter I'm disgusted.

    Covid-19

I'm surprised more restrictions weren't put in place for restaurants as that seemed to be a big driver of the numbers as well. Glad they didn't change the gym restrictions- haven't heard of any connections through that type of venue.
  19. That's really gonna hit Trump where it hurts. He's so focused on ratings.
  20. My wife and kid made me sit through that steaming pile of crap. Hands down one.of the worst movies I've ever seen.
  21. Sometimes I watch videos of Obama dropping in on places and openly mingle and joke with crowds to remind myself how a decent President acts, whether you agree with him or not.
  22. Was wondering what the line up was for. I think that's to counteract the Popeye's sandwich becoming available here.
