I don't have orange tinted glasses. I picked the Bombers to win and was wrong like everyone else this week. Bias is thinking that the Bombers crapped the bed instead of the Lions forced their will on us, stole our lunch money, & made us like it. We played the best we could on the day and they beat us fair and square. Does that make BC the top team in the league? It does this week. 3-0 > 2-1 especially when one of those 3 is against us. Maybe you need to engage the other half of your brain to see what really happened.

EDM doesn't look like they're even close to being in the playoff conversation yet.

So far, and it's really early, it looks like BC & Wpg fighting for first with SKN & CGY fighting for 3rd/cross over. In the east, it's TO & Mtl fighting for first and Ott & Ham trying to win enough games to stop the cross over.

The story fans want to tell is how everyone on the Bombers had a bad night at the same time. The real story IMO is that the Lions simply outplayed us.

I was not expecting that. We haven't been beat that badly since Collaros took over. Not a lucky win for BC, a dominating win and in all phases of the game. They aren't currently fighting for a playoff spot, they're #1 and they've beaten 3 western teams. Our O line looked like it was a step slow over and over and over. Collaros paid the price. Deep balls meant taking a hit. BC's first TD was enough points to win the game. What was with all the penalties? I thought that the ball touched the ground on BC's big catch at the 2 going into the half, so they got 4 unearned points on that drive. The game reminded me of last year when we went into BC on a short week and took them apart.

Scrapping for a playoff spot? LOL You're still floating your stupid theory that I'm actually a Lions fan. I'm not even on lion backers for dogs sake. Both BC and Toronto tried to keep Collaros in the pocket during the playoffs last year. It worked pretty well too. BC almost beat us with a one legged QB and Toronto did beat us in the GC. IMO Collaros is at his best when rolling out and making things happen.

VAJ is one of the top 3 QB's in the league right now. Sadly, that's not saying much. Tonight, we play our first legit contender. 2nd or 3rd best team in the league. I expect them to put up a good fight. They have a good chance of winning if they can stop Grant, establish the run, & keep Collaros in the pocket.

I'm glad it happens to other people too.

Quite frankly, Shiltz looked better than BLM anyway. I know it was YABD, but still.

Grant's 92 yard TD at 9:27 in the 3rd changed it from a 3 point game to a 10 point game in 15 seconds. That was the turning point of the close game. We were only up by 7 going into the fourth (31-24). How do you not think that's a close game? The Riders had more offence than we did. They passed for 400+ yards. Harris was as efficient as Collaros & he threw for one more TD. Everyone knew the Riders had given up when they were down by 14 & went for a FG instead of a TD half way thru the 4th. Wolo's late TD made the score look less close than the game really was. Oh yah! I almost forgot. We were playing a team, Saskatchewan, that most picked to be 4th or 5th in the West.

Like Lawler before him.... regretting the decision until he looks at his bank account.

It wasn't the game I was expecting where we dominate. It was a close back and forth game that was in doubt until Grant's amazing TD return. The Riders were broken after that.

BC pitched a shutout for the 3rd time in team history. They are the best defense we will face so far. Marque game coming up on Thursday. I wish it was a Sunday game so BC has no excuses. Edmonton has a good defense, but that offense is offensive.

Looked like an early battle for the basement in the West. Great hitting by both teams. Just kick the F'ing FG on the last Riders play. If it takes most QB's 3 years to 'get it', then the Elks QB is never gonna get it.

Pigrome found out how big a difference there is playing the starters instead of the 3rd and 4th stringers.

The Redblacks and the Als both have way better defenses than offenses. At least Ottawa has a chance of getting better when Masoli gets healthy. Faj's one great deep ball basically won the game, but he has no pocket presence. The whirlybird move when no one is near him is special... Wears a hockey helmet all the time kinda special. Both teams FG kickers were great. Neither OC did a good job of given their QB's plays they excel at. Hint: Don't call deep middle shots for Arbuckle.

That was a horrible call. Adeleke didn't fake taking a knee. No reason to stop the clock and give us 10 yards. Likely the only reason we got 3 unearned points on the next drive.
