We absolutely dominated the first half. It should have been over early in the third. Hamilton scored TD's on 3 turnovers and still lost. BLM was horrible in the first half, topping out at average in the second half. His deep ball misses sealed Hamilton's fate. Why did the OC keep calling them in the first half when they weren't working and they weren't down by a ton? You could tell which team made the least changes in the off season. Hamilton will get better, but it will take some time. Older vet teams do great at the beginning of the season before their bodies get broken down. It sure is nice that I don't hold my breath when we go out for a FG. Our DB's had lots of time to close because BLM didn't have enough zip on the deep ball. 1-0 is where we are and where we should be.

I was really surprised at the O-line. Just goes to show what a huge difference a great QB makes to the O-Line. I expected Bighill to be a top 10 LB, but then again, last year was an off year for him.

I think Butler's the key to the game. If the Ticats can establish a good running game they can keep our offence off of the field and tire out our defense. Kinda what happened in both of our pre-season games.

If I was the only one who gave s***, it would have ended when I posted the meme. It's funny how people think that Lawler couldn't have done anything about the DUI before he did. I guess it's just a coincidence that he got in front of a judge as soon as he got back to Winnipeg.

You are wrong here. DUI is the story. The media and fans want to change it to immigration issues to soften the story.

The DUI is the reason, it should be in the headline, not buried in the story. It's like saying someone who murdered someone has a legal issue.

He should have taken care of the DUI before this April. It happened 610 days ago. No DUI = No problem. It isn't an immigration issue, it's a DUI issue. Folks want to say it's everyone except Lawler's fault, but that's just making excuses. No it's not his agents fault for not taking care of it for him. No, it's not the Bombers fault for not taking care of it for him. No, it's not the PA's fault for not warning him. All he had to do was google "dui canada border" and he would have found out what to do. The whole situation is totally Lawler's fault for getting a DUI and not taking care of things way back in October 2021.

Without the DUI, there is no immigration issue. If he took care of the DUI like he should have, there'd be no immigration issue.
