I signed up because it was a new site to talk Bombers. Simple as that. That doesn't mean I didn't think it was a crap move in the first place. I've got lots of posts because folks like to argue with me and I have a different opinions than lots folks around here. For Example: 17 said on page 4 of this thread... Without it, were about 4 pages shorter and a bunch of posts less on this thread. I get that you've talked yourself into the idea that you did the right things for the right reasons and don't like being called out on doing it in crappy manner. It wasn't simply 'Where'd everyone go?'. It was an coup organized by the OB mods. What did you expect Colin to do? Nicely ask you to stop butthurtin him or just ask when your going to be done?

Your entire post is filled with good reasons to break away from the old site and start your own, which I have absolutely no problem with. None of it has anything to to with using the old site to promote the new one. FTR: The only 2 things I said were crap were: Using Colin's site to promote you own site. Complaining that Colin wasn't nice when you did #1. You don't see any difference between using someone else's competing website to take their members and leaving a card to help the other Realtor contact you? That's dim, even for you. Being right and winning the argument aren't always the same thing.

Realtors leave their cards in every home that they take their clients to. It's done to help the selling agent contact the buyers agent to get feedback and to show that you actually took your clients to the showing. It's nothing like posting on someone else's site to take their members.

Your just justifying your actions by arguing that the ends justify the means and saying what else could we have done. I've already told you the alternatives were to advertise, use social media and email to promote your new site. You staged a coup. You won. Those are the facts' that matter. When I was a Realtor, I'm sure I'd have been called before the ethics committee if I went to another Realtors site and tried to take their members, even if I had problems with the other realtor, my new site was way better and just what everyone wanted. I certainly wouldn't complain about how they did me wrong by blocking my new site name. That and being banned would be expected parts of staging a coup.

I don't see ads, so I don't know if they bought any, but I'd doubt it. They made a post inviting everyone to their new site. That's how I and many others found out about this site and what had been going on in the background in the first place. That post was deleted, but the conversation was started and ended up in other threads. That's how a lot more folks found out about the new site. Colin made the new site name turn into *'s. That lead to folks PM'ing the new site owners, who hadn't been banned from the old site. So yes... they were actively promoting the new site on the old site.

Lets try a Winnipeg type, in person, example: You don't go to a friends social and make an announcement to invite folks to your social instead. I'm betting you'd be thrown out if you tried . You don't then complain about the guy who set up the social because they didn't give you an easy way to contact the people who weren't there when you make the original announcement. That's just whining after being wrong in the first place.

Creating a new site? Great. Giving back to the community. Nice. Using a competitors site to advertise then whining that he wasn't nice about you stealing his members on his site? Crap move. Feeling good about it? Gotta question your ethics.

It's the very definition of using someone else's site to promote this one. Folks wouldn't have been able to PM you if you weren't on Colin's site in the first place. You want to pay for advertising or use Facebook, G+, Twitter, Pinterest or any of the other social media sites, fine... You want to send an email to everyone you know and ask them to pass it on to everyone they know. Great. You want to put an ad in the newspaper or Google or even pay Colin to advertise on his site, no problem.

It doesn't matter what went on behind the scenes. It's a crap move to use someone's site to promote your own site that deals with the same topic. No different than stealing OurBombers members emails and sending out a blast. I doubt you'd think it was OK for some folks on this site to make their own 'better' site and advertise it here. BTW: This in no way means you shouldn't have made up a new site if you had differences with Colin. It just means you shouldn't have used his site to 'steal' his users.

Bottom line is: Using Colon's site to promote your own new site was a crap move and I wasn't the least bit surprised that he censored the new site name. You guys literally wanted to take most of his members, which eventually ended in your site replacing his.

Glenn is serviceable and their receivers are great. The OL should be better than it was last year, so I expect that they will be able to put more points on the board this year, which should mean more wins. Enough to make the playoffs? I doubt it, but enough to show progress which MAY save Jones.

Richards needs to step it up this year or he'll be gone. NI's get more chances than IMP's, but Richards is quickly running out of them. He's played in 17 games over 2 years (About half the games) and has one catch. As he's also been holding down a salary for 2 years, that's one expensive catch. For that level of output, we might as well sign a non drafted NI receiver who is big enough to play special teams for the league minimum.

It's been down for about 5 days for me.

I'll play... I don't think that Faith is a first overall talent, but I'm resigned to the idea that he will be our pick. He should be able to rotate right away and we need another NI DL. As for Gray at 6... That's what I'd do. Someone said he got a 5K signing bonus, so they have less than the cost of a good party for the new guys in him right now. I expect he will be looking for work in the CFL by 2019 and he will have a couple of pro years under his belt under the best football coaches and facilities in the world.

Have you heard any negatives about anybody?

What is Jeffcoat going to do? No OL for him to go against.

I hope we didn't give him much of a signing bonus.
