It was mostly entertaining, but did have a few boring patches. Both young QB's looked decent, made mistakes Dukes has film on him now and both Mtrl. and Sask. game planned him well. Patterson will also get figured out better expect him to look worse by week three, but both showed potential.

    Coaxie had a baaaad game.....

Both Sask. and T.O have better d-lines and way more athletic and better LB's. than us

Grant is still good, hope he has a healthy season!

Sask seemed to ape what the Als did (successfully) against Dukes and take away the quick slants. They gave him his drags, but it didn't amount to much.

Coaxie had 3 balls in his hands that ended up as INTs... not sure I've ever seen that before.

Our D-Line, already without Flo Orimolade, saw Ceresna bang up his shoulder (I think?) and then Williams and Parish then proceeded to injure each other and we were in 3-4 for the rest of the night basically sending 7 just to get any pressure... and this happens a day after we lose Deionte Knight off of our PR to the Cats...

Grant has that rare ability to be blazing fast while looking like he's jogging. Just glides past people in their full out sprint.

  2. We didn't deserve anything out of that. Despite the D playing OK - Sask didn't do much at all on Offence. Sopik had a good game, kept seeing him pop up here and there. We got to have even more players reserve spots in the physio room, just lovely.

5 turnovers to Zero and they only beat us by a score tells the tale. Not scared of these Riders at all.

Just need to remember that we were hoping for 4 or 5 wins by the end of the MOP's suspension. We started hot and lifted our eyes to loftier goals... We're .500 and that's okayish.

Pisses me off because he is a player but we can't keep 'em all.

Speaking of not being able to keep 'em all... Right on cue, Coach Jones

Oakman joins the freakshow D in Edmonton.

No interest in him whatsoever.  Extremely overrated.

Really liking Woods and Adams to a lesser extent...needs to learn how to aim a bit and not just shoot to steal a line from Odell Willis.

IDK, for 5 plays every game he is positively impossible to handle.

Probably my favorite non Bomber Qb,total class act. Great CFL Qb. Opps wrong reply lol...Ricky Ray was who was referred to in the before post.😉

Yea trade Collaros, sell the farm! Ditch it all and head for the hills. If we don’t lose our heads what else can we do? It's PANIC time people!

They talk about it a lot, but it is impressive that the Ricky Ray pipeline in T.O. churned out Collaros, Harris, Fajardo & MBT. I like the looks of the 2 we have brought in behind The Chad too. Seems probable that Dukes has a future in our league, I wouldn't put it past Scott either. He looks to be a player.

  5. Having done my rewatch of the game, and being able to see things on TV that I didn't quite pick up live. I have a slightly more nuanced view of the Alouettes now.

Player for player, athlete for athlete, physicality versus physicality they aren't better than us. We might even be better than them.

We had some holes in our game last night and we made some mistakes which they jumped all over. Good teams always do this.

And right now the Montreal Alouettes are executing damn near flawless football. They are a machine. Credit to the coaches, the captains and the players as a group of professionals. They went out there with a game plan and carried it out. And it was put into effect ruthlessly. They are obviously the team to beat this year. And to the Cody haters, It's only going to get worse for you.
