    This is an excellent point. With the way the CFL has evolved into a 70 - 80% passing league - half back is the most important position on a CFL defense.

    IDK. I haven't seen either of them play with the pass pro that ZC gets.

    It might still be mostly the same system - but ZC runs it a lot differently. I mean, if it reverted back to mostly QB runs and check downs to the RB...the D would have to be very stout, and even then we might still lose.

    The final result will speak for itself, just like it did in 2019. Let them keep spouting garbage - and get guys like Biggie and Jeffcoat more even more fired up.

    It used to be great. But now it's overpriced, considering what's on their menu. You can eat at Montana's and spend about the same $$.

    I remember watching him trying to 'coach up' some of the DBs during a 2019 loss to Hammy - when the explosion plays were clearly on him.

    The running game: any DC worth his salt would scheme to stop the run & force the inexperienced QB to beat the D with his arm.

    Poor pass pro often leads to poor throws. Not sure how anyone can say pass pro was okay, given what ZC has been getting all year.

    It was interesting. He randomly completed some long throws, then started throwing downfield more, but the Als adjusted and picked him off. It was, at best, a steep learning curve - not aided by a subpar OL in front of him

    He definitely wasn't getting the protection. And inexperienced QB, minus your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd offensive tackles His performance was disappointing, but not entirely unexpected.

    I suspect the biggest problem is unvaxxed pockets, even if we did have 90% fully vaxxed.
