That's some **** move there. It never ceases to amazing me how clueless some people are when they attend events. Sit your ass down between plays. Wait in the aisle until a play is over before disrupting people (and their view). Hell .. my six year old understands this concept.

in watching the Canada/New Zealand game, it was told to me that unlike the mens game women only get an automatic 3mins OT whereas the men's game racks up that time a players down during the game (with that + time) for injury time they play off after regulation, so maybe theres method to the down for so long rolling around, other then giving your guys a breather, not unlike taking an injury knee in football Yeah .. that's not entirely true .. women aren't limited to 3 minutes stoppage time .. the amount of extra time awarded is at the discretion of the referee based on injuries, subs or other "game interupting disturbances". Also, if a scoring chance is occurring as the stoppage time is about to (or has elapsed) .. the ref will usually wait until the ball reaches a neutral area before calling the game.

He's a little light to be playing inside .. I think he'd be backing up Westerman at the end spot.

Sounds like Zach will not be 100% this year, hopefully they they can use him in rotation and spare further agravation to his injury. Who else besides Jake Thomas can rotate inside? Nate Collins.

Not really surprised by any of these cuts to be honest. Little disappointed that nobody stepped up to challenge Peach. I'm probably one of Peach's biggest supporters - definitely feel he's underrated by a lot of people - but I I would have LOVED a more explosive body off the edge .. or at least competition in camp to keep it "honest" and potentially upgrade that spot.

why do you get 2 points on a safety? Why 3 when you kick the ball through the uprights? Why 6 when you advance the ball into the endzone? Because it's in the rules that's why. You shouldn't get a point for missing a field goal, but yes a rule is a rule. Throw back to our rugby roots or not .. the concept of rewarding failure sucks.

I've heard it on the radio (either the talking heads / Bauming on 1290 or Irving) mention that Richards had dealt with concussions playing university ball .. not saying that's what this injury is .. have no idea what's keeping him out of the lineup to be honest .. but I have heard similar things. How could he have gotten a concussion after 2 days of rookie camp? Again, I'm not suggesting that this IS what it is .. just confirming that I've heard he's dealt with this in the past .. that said, concussions are tricky things .. if you have a history of concussions .. something seemingly innocuous can trigger symptoms .. but the kicker is that every person responds differently .. hell, it's not even big shots that guys have to worry about .. it's repeated small blows that add up, over time, that cause damage. I *WILL* repeat myself .. not suggesting Richards is dealing with a concussion .. just confirming that I've heard the same thing as another poster.

I'm hopeful. Our line has some solid road grading lineman that know how to run block now. Chungh seems to be capable of being an adequate run blocking lineman if Neufeld can't go, definitely more suited to that than pass pro in the early stages of his pro career. Picard has made his mark in the CFL as a run blocking beast. Bryant is just an all around awesome lineman. ... I'm hopeful. I don't disagree that we've got the bodies and have changed the makeup of our offensive line to suit a more physical / run based attack .. I just don't believe in our offensive coordinator .. if I'm proven wrong .. fantastic ..

Personally, I don't have much faith that Bellefeuille will use our backs consistently (despite the offseason chatter) .. the CFL is a passing league .. I get it .. but the best friend of a young quarterback is a healthy running game .. take pressure off Willy ..and pound the ball a bit.
