Wearing the royal blues for the Banjo Bowl

@DarrinBauming: DE Thaddeus Gibson, acquired via trade from #Argos Tuesday, has not joined the #Bombers yet. Alex Suber hasn't left Winnipeg yet either.

Without a doubt this is a bit of a shock .. addiction is a terrible thing to try and overcome .. hopefully he gets the help he needs.

@PentonKirk 10m Jason Vega will be a healthy scratch this week, as Kashawn Fraser played well enough to stay in the lineup. #Bombers Not exactly a huge fan of Fraser myself and Vega is a pretty solid, multifaceted lineman .. a guy you can plug in any spot on the front 4 .. not sure how I feel about this one.

@BobIrvingCJOB Bomber practice delayed by lightning. Just now starting and drew willy is throwing and showing no ill effects of yest hand injury @DarrinBauming 28s From what I gather, Drew Willy's hand is sore. Squeezing fists. Talking with Brohm about taping fingers together. Seems to be throwing fine.

And the Argos get the Tennessee Titans.

Shawn Churchill ‏@ShawnChurchill 3m Drew Willy doesn't normally show a lot of emotion. That was not the case today. Waiting on injury update

The Browns would have to give permission for Gordon to play in the CFL; they've already said no way no chance.

Wild was solid but so was Kromah. Kuale is a lot nastier and more physical but I think it's a mistake to sit Kromah who imo is much more physically capable of stopping the run. I simply think Kromah is a more well rounded LB than Kuale .. for all the physicality that Kuale brings to the table (in terms of being a thumper) .. he hasn't demonstrated it this season.

He's signed very cheaply through 2016 (he's doesn't acrue a year toward free agency due to his suspension). He's not a FA in the NFL until 2017.

Since the renovation, due to wider seats, the seating capacity at BC Place is now 54,320. Pre renovation it was 59,841. Would have to agree though, it's both funny and sad that the Lions cannot average over 35k in a stadium like that. It all went downhill when Bobby Ackles passed away. Yeah .. Used to attend games there somewhat regularly when I still lived in BC. Forgot about the post renovation "shrinkage"

Condos in my neighbourhood here in Winnipeg are going for 375-425k. Doesn't seem too absurd to me. /shrug

Lawless speculating that the RedBlacks could go as high as 250k for Dressler. That would be a huge chunk of cap space tied up in two players (Burris and Dressler). Can't say I'd pay that kind of money.

@CFLDigest: RedBlacks backup QB DeMarco done for year http://t.co/V0Js0FRSIn #CFL Damn shame.

I would think quite a few. BC president failed to tell everyone to read the fine print. The seats will likely be freebies in the rafters that are never full anyway. having sat up there many times I can say they are still darn good seats. It's a beautiful stadium. Its too bad the hipster-douchebags in Vancouver can't fill it. It's capacity is 54,000. You expect that every game? Actually, capacity is closer to 60K (59k and change if I remember correct). But when metro Vancouver has a population of around 2.3 million .. it's a bit comical that the Lions can't routinely draw 35k+ to the dome.

If the organization has that kind of money to throw around .. putting up billboards all over the country .. more power to them .. can't say it impresses or bothers me in the least.

Definitely dig the Als signature jersey .. but people are right .. just underscores / highlights just how god awful ours are.

He was also very disciplined in his rush as well .. generally had good contain .. played the spot very well from a fundamentals standpoint.

Dressler is the better player AINEC, I don't know what AINEC means but absolutely Dressler is better thn Matthews. And It's Not Even Close

And the two guys (Dressler and Willy) might have some familiarity with one another .. coming out of Saskatchewan .. that can't hurt from a chemistry standpoint.

Madani is talking out his rear end. #BearDown

The biggest thing for me is consistency. Every league misses / blows calls .. but the officiating in the CFL is so wildly inconsistent .. the level of unpredictability is what separates it from every other league.

Owens had no chance to protect himself. Tough hit.

Was hoping Toronto might do us a favour and help bring Edmonton back to us a bit .. That said .. A route to the post season through the East doesn't sound too bad

I think the more tangible affect on the CFL might be the expansion of NFL practice rosters .. granted .. the impact is not huge but it further shrinks the pool of potential cuts ..
