We never have chased free agents hard. I do agree with not over paying lawler, ford, and Dobson. We’ve lost a lot of top tier guys in the past few years.
we have to replace those guys some way. We haven’t been replacing top tier talent with top tier talent. It doesn’t have to be our guys, or other teams free agents. Can be trades, developing guys, signing nfl cast offs who excel etc.

we hit with ford last year and lost him just as fast. So as much as that’s a credit, it’s a fault too. We can’t just be developmental for other teams. Walters n co need to do better with the alternative routes if they aren’t gonna thump free agency.

Toronto has been doing it by developing, trading, nfl and obscure finds. Bc has spent in free agency and made trades while doing well off the in league off casts.

B.C. is not the model of success since Mike Reilly.

Are you referring to his post-GC remarks about having earned the right to know why he didn't touch the ball more? He wasn't the only one wondering what happened.

Stanley Bryant: “Very disappointing,” veteran O-lineman Stanley Bryant said. “Surprised. Because, I mean, you’ve got the MOP, MOC. That’s what you respect. But I’m not an OC.”

11 touches, I think 0 of them came when Wilson was in at QB, none when Zach came in with 91/2 fingers. We all wanted to ask Buck what the heck happened there. I read it as he wanted to do more for his team  but wasn't able to, it was out of his hands.

Sorry this still kills me. And I know its apples to oranges but the god damn Eagles are in the super bowl with the best rb this year. Everyone knows they're gonna run, and yet they do it anyway and win. We had the best God damn rb in the league and rather than just say we win or lose, feed him, the excuse was "they'll just jam the box". Well ******* let them. Better that than asking a qb to do something he's never done while injured

Okay... I needed that off my chest.

minus Schoen and lawler, i really don’t think there’s much else there. Ford and Dobson yes but nfl and $$$$$$. Think we see some legit change through free agency and prospects.

    Nick Taylor is signed no?

And hope he plays with a motor like he did in the grey cup.
His signing this early tells me we probably still gave him elite de money. Wish it would be a more team friendly deal. But if he brings an elite motor elite pay would be ok.

Give him something besides a warm body on the line to work with would be nice.

Finally there is someone looking for accountability in the media.  Hamilton in today's Free Press states "O’Shea’s tunnel vision cost Big Blue big time"

Just finished reading the same article. The cracks are showing that I'm sure have been starting in the locker room. Oshea is stuck with his old guys he's loyal too at a detriment to our team.

Great examples from Hamilton on Leggihio, the fiasco with Schoen and Biggie and now Collaros.

This feels like the last hurrah.
