this is awesome info, thanks. i've always been interested in x's and o's but never played. loved your analysis of our offensive. to my untrained eye, buck's offence looks very vanilla, slow, predictable... whereas Lapo seemed to have much more pre-snap movement and ways to get AH in space. 
what do you think is going on with Buck? do you think our offence will improve?

good points, for sure--and i definitely prefer Zach's arm and ability/willingness to throw under pressure and into coverage. still, i find we could do more with the run game.

Yup. You nailed it. Stove fired up the run d. We forget how important those interior guys are. 

You got that bit right. Nelson is just tentative. A North South guy gets the ball and goes straight down field. Nelson dances but Keith stokes like like a South guy lol. He ran backwards as soon as he caught the ball. 
Marvin Coleman in the end stages of his career is the quintessential north south saftey returner. He wasn't a td threat any more but he caught every thing in the air and ran straight down field. 
Security Is always tops. But a close 2nd for me is catching every ball in the air possible. 15 yard no yards is huge to tack on. 
100 percent. 19 was actually really good for him for ball security but he still dropped it a couple times.  
The thing about dangerous return men in the cfl is you have to kick differently to them. A guy like Nelson you can kick the snot out of the ball right down the middle and cover to spots. A guy like Grant you have to kick to a side line and with in your coverage. When you see Nelson at maybe 10 yards per return and grant at say 15 it's not just a 5 yard difference. The way teams kick to a Grant makes it more of a 20 yard difference. Plus the danger of a big return. It also shortens the other teams fg range.

I will resist the urge to get into a diversity debate with Brandon as I don’t want to get the post off track, but if others want to chase him down the rabbit hole I will gladly add my voice to counter his ignorant comments. 

Waited in line too long but figured that was bc of the pregame deals. Not too bad afterward and bathrooms easy after game started. They did a tremendous job with parking and crowd control upon entry and exit. Fun time.

It was so nice to watch the Bombers again, and the win was icing on the cake. 
 
My little guy is 5 now, and ready to see a game in person. My wife doesn't know yet but I want to fly with him to come see a game in Winnipeg before they come to Calgary November.

I am a rider fan and even i will admit that there are 4 or so QBS that should be favoured ahead of him. The one year of success has to be taken into account. 

Even with the departures of Rose, Sayles and Nevis our D is still going to be the class of the league. Our front 7 is second to none. Josh Johnson will slide seamlessly into one of the vacated secondary spots and surely theres atleast one diamond among the 9648 DB's were bringing to camp lol.

I'll tell ya, that entire weekend in Calgary was something special. I'm a big believer in "Everything happens for a reason..." and while there are a lot of days where I scratch my head wondering how the hell I ended up living and working in west central Alberta, that weekend was like "Ohhhh....this is why I'm here...." I'll never forget that weekend as long as I live.
