Good on the Bombers and Jets for adding a few $s to their coffers for naming rights. However, this old fan always called those edifaces The Stadium and The Arena and will continue to do so.

Aw, come on, give him a break. It's only January 3. There's no way his number is that high!🙂

I like this signing. He was a little exuberant at times (a couple of ill-advised penalties) but he has a motor and a nose for the ball.

    You're joking.....right?
"Police stopped the vehicle Marshall was driving and reportedly found a modified automatic handgun. Records said Marshall and Borders were in “possession of sawed-off shotgun, sawed-off rifle, dangerous weapon, or silencer.”"
I realize that it's Georgia but even they have gun laws. If he's found guilty, he'll be playing QB for the Georgia State Prison "Rough Riders" for the next five years (manditory sentence for him if found guilty) a la Burt Reynolds in The Longest Yard.

A lot of repetition here but still an enjoyable read with my second cup of coffee this morning. To me, in a nutshell, we (the Bombers) were outcoached (roster "management", schemes and  adjustments on both sides of the ball) in the most important game of the season...very frustrating for this armchair QB.
Now that management is back in place for the next couple of years, they can go about trying to piece together another solid and, hopefully, Grey Cup calibre team. It should be an interesting off-season.

If you think about it a bit, it's pretty funny. (Good natured poking fun at you and the other "veterans" on the list)

BA would be the perfect DA who could slot in at safety..SAM...corner and still plays great teams.
Holm should be our safety next yr as we don't need a big bopper there, and we focus on HB who are physical, and can play up and disrupt receivers as well as run with them and cover....we play to soft, and when it gets to crunch time more often than not it kills us as we get nickle and dimed down a feild....
We don't need a plethora of guys who excel playing off and seem like good guys at closing in on a pass to stop progress...we need more guys who are there to actually limit the receptions in the first place
and the bolded is key...its what has occured 2 yrs running now...and hmmmmm0-2 in last 2 grey cups

“Early in the week I didn’t even pack a bag,” said Bighill. “(Brad) Fotty (equipment manager) packed a bag for me, I really didn’t give myself much of a chance at playing. It was a pretty miraculous week with Al (Couture, head athletic therapist) and doc, and the team rehabbing. Yeah, it was pretty miraculous.”
Schoen declined to go into the severity of his ankle, but he was clearly far from 100 per cent as he was limited to three catches for 36 yards. Bighill tried to tough it out but couldn’t play the entire game on defence and ended with one tackle.
“It’s frustrating when it’s the most important game of the season, the biggest game of my career, and I wasn’t able to practise for the last few weeks going into that,” said Schoen, who hadn’t participated since going down on Oct. 6. “But you know, I was super grateful for the opportunity to play. The training staff here did an amazing job to get me ready, or at least, ready enough to get out there and be on the field. I don’t know many coaches out there that would be OK with a player not practising for six weeks and then throwing him in for a championship game. Coach believes in us as players, so, I really appreciate him.”

I know you're upset. I am too. I have been a die-hard (really die-hard) since 1957. (Yes, I'm that old.) Seriously, there is always next year, more for you because I don't have that many left.
