It's just too bad there isn't an entertainment district close to PAS. It's a long drive or bus ride to any decent restaurants or pubs northbound on Pembina Highway. There was just about everything close to Canad Inns Stadium. It wasn't perfect as there weren't a lot of bars around but fans did have some restaurant choices nearby. As well as shopping at Polo Park.

Walters & Osh should have both been let go when their contracts were up at the end of last season. They got a reprieve from Miller. Probably told to smarten up & actually do their jobs. Walters certainly took that to heart. Now, we'll see if Osh can get back to where he was in 2019.

I could care less about a Canadian QB and the incessant push for it...and why it even matters...there are elite Canadians all over the CFL who should get the promoting..and if not for NFL politics could play on an NFL roster over most teams back half roster..but never gonna happen
The CFL media and fans should focus on best possible players period for Canadians and not push this stupid QB thing...cause in all honesty for every Rourke..which is historically rare and always will be...there's dozens of Shittier than Boltus Canadian QB's...and couldn't hold his jock. Media needs to let that one go
He has raw skills...but at this point its all he has..and needs to develop it to see if he has any chance of being even moderately successful...doing the dance he is won't get that for him..and if he lands on a PR...even that won't...but on a roster here...getting some reps be it short yardage...special packages..whatever...gets you film..and eyes...look at Ford here...one game as a starter essentially got him a look...it wasn't his ST work as there are literally a 1000 Fords in the U.S with same or better skillset who can be teams guys...he showed something in his start and that alone was the bump he needed to get a shot...game film...Elgersma has none...and won't get any

It was a strange announcement. Nobody has ever done that before. Are they going to do that with every free agent they lose? What about the Argos & Ti Cats & the players they lost? That would be a lot of announcements per team. Our team last year? Some new CFL media protocol? It was just weird.

Looks like most of their free agents signed extensions because they wanted to stay & not leave as you are trying to suggest. Yes, some players left just like any other team. It happens every year especially on a defending Grey Cup championship team because everyone wants to be paid & it's impossible. Mace lost some very good players to be sure but he also kept a lot of great ones, too.
Why am I defending Mace? I defend him because he's a very good coach. To say otherwise would be stupid. I don't have to automatically hate him just because I hate the Riders. I still respect him & what he's accomplished.
Mace has never been in over his head as a Head Coach like Craig Dickenson was. From Day 1, he had a vision of what he wants & he coaches that way. Treats his players like men as he should & they respond positively. He makes them accountable for their actions everyday. Mace doesn't play favourites or gives any free rides, He's also a Grey Cup Champion Head Coach. Which makes it all the more sweeter to beat him when we play the Riders.

The CFL isn't big enough to go on either Netflix or prime. I love the CFL..  but outside of Canada it's just not a draw.
 
 

We should be looking at big streaming services to see if we could make a deal to go on Amazon Prime or Netflix. You just don't know until you try. maybe also trying to get the games televised in Europe. I mean, if TSN televises German soccer (Bundeslegia) why can't the CFL have a tv deal overseas? It's all about reaching out & if there's interest to negotiate a deal. Imagine the CFL being paid in Euros???

Other than the fact that high glove = guaranteed goal. He hasn't been the same this season. I wouldn't be surprised if he was on the bench for the Olympics.
