Well, that silly rule has been around for 110 years & it has worked out pretty well. You don't like it, fine. I just get tired of hearing it's silly (as you keep saying) because it isn't. It's the Canadian game grounded in history. You change or take away any part of the Canadian kicking game & the result will be closer to the 4 down version of football in the States. I like both games. They have their own set of individualized rules that make them unique. The single point is here to stay. It won't be tweaked or changed.

Because it's not 4 down football. It's 3 down with Canadian football. It's a different game.

How can you say it's not? No one will try for a touchdown on 3rd & 10 if they're on the other team's … say 30 yard line. Every coach will take the 3 points.

Anybody else glad Glen Howard didn't make it & not because he played McEwen? You got Howard playing with his son while Russ Howard did the tv analysis for TSN. I just thought OMFG. Russ was obviously restrained but still...
