  1. No kidding. If the players got the guy fired because they refused to play for him then as a whole they'll never win.
  2. I guess in Montreal when it's cut down day, they really mean it. Kavis Reed is an absolute disaster as a GM & yet he keep surviving to grind the Alouettes down another day. We all know this should have been done 7 months ago.

  4. When you spend $700,000 on your qb & $250,000 a year on your guard...,
  5. Why would Stamps use their home unis?
  6. There's only 2 answers here. Go or Don't Go. Do people want to hear continually why anyone doesn't want to go? People can spend THEIR MONEY anyway they want.
  7. Bennett deserves to be number 3 with McGuire put on the PR.
  8. Just the storyline & analogy used... Ya da, ya da, I can go to Minneapolis, I can sleep on the floor in a flea bag hotel or the back seat of my buddy's car, I can share gas with my friends, I can bring sandwiches & bottled water instead of eating in restaurants…. Somehow making a so called cheap trip to Minneapolis to watch the Vikings is somehow better value than watching the game here. Whatever floats your boat, I guess. I agree prices are high but why are we acting surprised? That's the promoter setting the price. However, if you really want to go then you'll go.
  9. I can't go.... Knee replacement. Would have been great.
  10. Halfback Mack Herron. The CFL leading rusher in 1972 with 1,527 yards Runner up that year to Garney Henley of the Tiger Cats for the Schenley Award as the CFL's Most Outstanding Player.
  11. The guy has an agent. Use his agent to get a hold of him. That's what they're for. Besides being paid too much $$$ than they're worth.
  12. In his brief times in Calgary, Winnipeg & Ottawa he's been nothing but a vanilla type qb with his playing style. If anything, I've found him to be underwhelming for the most part. Never set himself apart from other qbs with the same level of league experience.
  13. If as you say that he wasn't given enough reps to make a meaningful evaluation when he played here then how can you say he's above average?
  14. Well, he was a major suitor to purchase the Als. I doubt that outside of 3-4 groups there isn't a lot of interest in buying that team. I'm amazed that there are as many as 4 groups interested. So, to do that to a potential buyer isn't the smartest thing to do. still.
  15. That basically is what I was saying. However, 2,3 & 4 aren't locked up yet.
  16. That was Lolly the DC. If he wants to show his hand then more power to him. Most teams don't blitz so as not to give anything away in pre season.
  17. Well, the coaches have to make decisions as to the depth positions behind Nichols. If Streveler struggles again, do they simply fall back on last year's play & he gets the backup role by default or go with what they see in real time? Going to be interesting.
  18. After the endless hype by a certain poster here, I was expecting Streveler to indeed step up & he didn't. Last night, Big Chris didn't look like he could replace Nichols as the future starter. Bennett looked like he is capable of moving up to #2 if Streveler doesn't improve. Next week could be a make or break game for Streveler. Especially if the other 2 qbs play well.
