Well, there are NFL fans here too. It's doing no harm. You don't have to read the posts.

Volvo is Chinese owned? I'll never buy one.
-
Why? It's been here since Day 1. Not worth it.

That isn't funny. That is pathetic.

Best duo in the CFL during that era.

Glad to hear that Zach Collaros said that he is having input into the plays in Buck's playbook. I take it that means less running & more throwing. Harris is 33 & he can't be expected to always carry the load for the Bombers game in & game out like he did with LaPo's offense. Instead of 1400 yards rushing , I'd be happy with 1000-1100 yards & a more diverse passing game. It also means Harris can pick his spots where he can have those games where he dominates & others where he just contributes to wins to help save him for the playoffs where the run game takes on more importance.

Hey Frosty....

Really having a hard time following my shows on tv because of Covid scheduling. Blue Bloods, FBI, Chicago PD & Fire are my faves but they're so hit & miss scheduling wise. Off the air from May to mid to late November, then trying to fit 16 episodes in. play 2 or 3 shiows then a hiatus for a month or more. Come back with a show or two then a 2 week hiatus & so it goes. I find I watch less new TV. I prefer PVR'ing old western, sci fi & war movies & tv series. I never missed a BB episode but after the latest hiatus after just 2 new shows I just said **** it & tuned out. I never missed an episode in 11 years before. The networks need to figure this out. AFAIK, this is all Randy Ambrosie's fault.

That panel needs some defensive players. A different perspective. to what Matt & milt are saying. I still can't stand Climie. No way he was better than what Milt & Schultz were saying because of his damned biases towards certain teams. Barker wasn't there long enough to really judge other than he did bring a coaching perspective. I do know he & Dunigan don't like one another as Barker was fired by the Stamps & Dunigan replaced him as HC & GM. Only to have new owners come in a year later, fire Dunigan & replace him as GM with Barker again. A couple of times you could feel the tension on TV between those 2.

Just proves if we had Kevin Glenn we'd have beaten the Riders & Kerry Joseph in the Grey cup.
-
Jock Climie was the worst. Even though it's the Riders he used to brag about how he hated the Riders & their fans. All well & good as it is the Riders & it was funny but how would we feel if he said that about the Bombers & us? Climie was a prick.

I wouldn't have it any other way...

They're in their own bubble so it's really no risk to anyone outside. It's probably more riskier to go to a grocery store. Or to take public transit somewhere.

Yeah, great front ends like Jim Pettapiece & Bryan Wood from Don Duguid's championship teams. Guys whose names I no longer can remember but I admired when I started playing myself. Calgary has the facilities at Canada Olympic Park where they built a curling arena....

Nah, love the old corn & synthetic brooms in unison booming through the building & watching those great front ends go to work on heavy ice for 10-12 ends... I played front end & when you got in a rhythm with the other sweeper it was incredible... It was LOUD!!!! Miss those days... Yeah, **** got on the ice but that was part of the game. At least with a corn broom sweeping still could save a rock if it caught a straw unlike brush hairs today.... Blisters were also part of the game. They became calluses . I used to go through 3 or 4 gloves every year. I just remember when you played in a Men's League twice a week or in a bonspiel if we heard the boom, boom, boom of the brooms from another sheet everyone that could would look up to watch the sweepers for a second or two...

No, disagree. The panel became about Milt mostly & his suits. Or the outrageous things he would say while trying to emulate Deion sanders or Michael Irvin. Matt Dunigan would get fired up & start doing the same thing from a qb perspective like Terry Bradshaw. Then they brought in Burris who just a few short years ago trashed the entire panel during a halftime sideline interview as another talking head who really added nothing to the discussion. Yeah, sometime Schultz had pedestrian views but I believe it came from the position he played. To him, a big play wasn't just about running the ball, catching or throwing. It was about the meat & potatoes of a play. The blocking. The boring stuff that fans don't care about.

Found this on TSN website... this has to be nearly 20 years ago. The Good, The Bad and The Duthie - Featuring Chris Schultz - Video - TSN

All well & good but find a way....

He kept guys like Matty & Milt grounded. The panel isn't as good as it was when he was there. I always hoped he'd come back to the panel. This is such sad news. My condolences to his family.

I remember Punky Brewster. She certainly has grown up.

Too bad we can't have Joe Poplawski step into a time machine & come out 40 years younger.

Hey appreciate it. Step #1 to getting our lives back to normal.
