LaPo used to run that fly sweep to Weston Dressler at least a couple of times a game. The guy got lit up more than once & we lost him to injuries because of it. He wasn't fast enough. Our OL wasn't good enough & LaPo was too stubborn to stop. With Buck, we don't see that play as often & Rasheed Bailey's a bigger body who (hopefully) can take the pounding.

I always expected them to win at home back then. Lots of times we'd pile on 40 & 50 points on teams. We fed on the Riders & Stamps.

I thought you might have known him. What a putz Wilson is. I can't stand him. It's not that he's a Stamps homer (which he is) but such an arrogant prick on the air. I was so angry that I nearly called in but didn't. I knew he'd just mock me on air which he does after someone calls in. He'd start trashing me after I hung up. He's a rat. We'll kill them second time round. Imagine if we go 13-1 & meet them in the Grey Cup?

Saturday's game was vintage LaPo. Putting both his qbs into situations where they couldn't win. Inexplicable play calls. Little or no support from the bench. Duck Hodges is not a short yardage qb. So, why even put him in that situation? Evans should be doing short yardage. Evans looks like he could be a pretty good qb if he is developed properly. At times, he was flailing away on the field like a drowning man crying for help. Instead of throwing him a life preserver, LaPo threw him a rock.

Let them disrespect us, Mike. We have them right where we want them.

Well, I have a better one for you. I was listening to the Stampeders post game show on 770 CHQR here in YYC as one of my friend's likes to phone in. He didn't tonight. During the show, the host Jock Wilson started claiming the league has to investigate the Bombers & "The Canadian Mafia". He says the Bombers have had the best schedule the past 3 seasons & that they are "lined up pefectly" to finish the season with no short weeks between games like every other team has to do. He says it's been this way the past 3 seasons & the Canadian Mafia has an unfair influence over the league so they allow the Bombers to get away with it. He says thye CFL loves the Bombers so they always get the best schedule. Just so much **** from a guy who on the air who always sounds like the biggest ******* in the room. Noeller, do you know Wilson? Milt's loving the Bombers domination this year.

Who was the emergency third string qb for the Lions? I agree with Duane Forde that the 2 qbs on the roster is stupid. They have to go back to 3. What if Reilly had been injured because he had to play?? Just really a short sighted decision on the CFL's part.
