Considering the CFL Draft is a crapshoot & to win another Grey Cup? Absolutely. This team has depth everywhere. We can afford to take a risk if it solidifies our chances of winning. make it an unconditional first round pick if he signs with us. Second round pick if he doesn't.

Whyte could kick for another 5 years at least. To get a proven quality kicker I'd trade our first pick without question.

Ottawa has improved greatly with Caleb Evans as their new, young qb. They play hard & are giving teams a run for their money now. It looks like the Elks have become the worst team in the CFL so the Bombers playing them is now the free space on the bingo card.

Trevor Harris may have had his problems this season but if Elizondo thinks Taylor Cornelius give his team a better chance of winning vs the Bombers then he's absolutely delusional. The Elks are a dumpster fire.

Looks like Trevor Harris may have played his last game with the Elks. According to 630 CHED's Dave Campbell, the analyst for the Elks games on radio, Jaimie Ekizondo told him he'll be a healthy scratch for the game Friday vs the Bombers.

I fgeel bad for Matt Nichols. That shoulder injury he suffered was brutal. It has essentially ended his career. I don't think he'll ever play again. He's up in the booth "helping out" the RedBlacks. Hopefully, he gets into coaching as he has a lot of knowledge to pass on to younger players. Mark Nelson's knees are shot. I used to walk like that before my knee replacement.

Ryan Ballantine is an unabashed Stamps fan. He apparently didn't plan the best route to BMO Field from his hotel. He's being roasted by Argo supporters. The 88 & 90 defenses were very, very good. However, I'd take this year's team defensive line over the other 2 teams. They're better.

Tom Clements had his worst statistics playing for the Riders in 1979 before he was traded to Hamilton. He was an expensive addition & the Riders had a losing team. Trading him cleared up some money to sign players to bolster other positions. He had no confidence either playing behind a sub standard OL as well. It wasn't a good fit.

They can bring him in just as long as they bring in someone else as well.

That would have been late 70's. I believe I bought it at a place called Athletes Wear off the downtown. No, there was no Bomber store. Most fans didn't wear jerseys in those days. They also weren't the highest quality. They got better as the years went by. With quality improving fans started wearing jerseys more & more. Teams soon realized that if they sold team jerseys & collectibles that fans would buy them & they could make $$$ off that stuff.

He still is, I believe but he also owns & runs a personal training gym.
