  1. Williams has hamstring issues. Ken Nielsen.
  2. Huff usually doesn't overpay. Expect some vets to be going to FA from the Stamps now. They have their OL signed so I expect they'll be a run heavy team with noodle armed Bo playing. Now we know why Sankey is not coming back.
  3. He was a top OL a few years ago but he was on the downside of his career. But even that was still better than the **** players they have on that line with him. Now he's gone & has to be repalced. All five starters need replacing. No qb ib his right mind that is a CFL free agent wants to go there. They may sign but Ottawa will have to overpay.
  4. It just keeps getting better & better for LaPo.
  5. He has hamstring issues. That's a huge problem if it becomes chronic for Williams. That could be career ending. My son tore his left hamstring training in the off season between his junior & season season at the end of January 2015. He went to spring camp 2 months later but couldn't run. He was in line to be the srarter at SFU but he lost his speed & mobility. As a result, he just threw 1 TD pass his senior year as he was the backup. He didn't have surgery as he didn't want to lose any time & figured he could play through it. He said that was a mistake. Still bothers him today almost 7 years later. He knows he'll have to have surgery sooner or later.
  6. Just get Lawler & Bailey back. Adams is the one I'd let go if we can't bring them all back.
  7. We need them all back. Yeah but is he 250 lbs & runs a 4,4 fourty????
  8. We need Bailey back. He's the heart & soul of the receiving corps. The loud, brash guy who is always talking. He brings a lot of energy to the group.
  9. Reilly restructured down to about $525,000. So, actually the savings with him retiring is only about $225,000.
  10. I wish the Bombers would give him a Grey Cup ring.
  11. You also expose Jefferson to injury. He isn't needed.
  12. He's just dripping with sarcasm. Right????
  13. Or if he believes Nathan Rourke can be an effective qb. Heis getting older & I'm sure he wants to win a Grey Cup.
  14. With the lack of talent & & ability on that OL I doubt if anyone could have made them better. If Wylie with all his experience can't do it then how a less experienced coach do it? Usually coaches IQ's rise with good players. Strictly a money cutting move which is why that coaches & admin cap has to go. But nothing from the CFL. They were going to delve into ways to make the game better. Crickets. Not surprised.
  15. All I was trying to say is we don't need those kind of players to be TE's & until the CFL goes back to TE's they'll never be developed in this country. It doesn't mean we can't or ever will.
  16. Bob Wylie was let go by the RedBlacks because they want their coaching staff to get younger. Another word for cheaper. So, thery brought in a different coach who is younger & won't make as much $$$. Did the same thing to Steve Walsh their qb coach. Ageism at it's finest. It's not about who is best but who is cheaper. Which is why LaPo won't last the season there. Wylie & Walsh had literally nothing to work with.
  17. That's your name, right??? It's your metric. Plaese don't twist my words.
  18. Teams can only judge what players are doing now. The Bombers are giving him every chance but at some point Legghio has to start showing he can kick in the CFL. He's a competent (not great punter). Guess we'll see.
  19. Press conference tomorrow. Chris Jones to introduce Tom Wilkinson as his starting qb.
  20. Why are you hung up on this 6'5/250 lb TE a 4.4 or 4.5 fourty? First of all, the TE won't be going mano a mano on 285 lb DT's. He'll be handling quick outside linebackers or D ends. So, he'll be cracking down or chipping on the edge then slipping into the flat or going downfield for a pass. He doesn't have to run 4.5 to be successful.
  21. No, unfortunately we don't know that. He may never be the guy.
