  1. College Of The Siskiyous. it was established in 1957 & is one of 116 publicly funded community colleges & is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community & Junior Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools & Colleges.
  2. JUCO is pretty damned good ball. My son played it. There are a lot of players that would tear up U Sports. Most players come from economically challenged families in districts where the drop put rate in high schools are high & gang life is a way of life. My son being Canadian had his eyes opened to the differences socio-economically from the white middle class background he came from. A lot of his teammates were Blacks who came from Oakland & cities from Southern California where poverty & gang life are ripe. These guiys all liked Tyler because he could play & was the starter at qb. He hung out with a lot of those guys & they treated him well. Academically, these players struggled with school, with their SAT's & generally didn't qualify for D1 FCS & FBS colleges. They spend 2 years in a classroom setting where they are taught how to become students. Some of them have to take a remedial English or Math class & have to pass those courses before they can further their studies. Some guys are so far behind it takes them three years to finish a 2 year course so they redshirt but after their time is over most can handle university level courses. They won't be Nobel Prize winners or doctors but they'll come away with a degree from an accredited 4 year university. A lot of players redshirt which means they don't play their first year but it doesn't affect their 2 years of eligibility at JUCO. A lot of them graduate & are offered 2 year scholarships to 4 year colleges which before would have been a dream for most of them. Aaron Rodgers got no scholarship offers after high school so the JUCO (Butte College) in his hometown of Oroville, CA, offered him a chance to play & in 2 years he ended up going to Cal. My son quarterbacked his team (College Of The Siskiyous) against Butte when Rodgers younger brother was one of the qbs there, Both teams were in the same conference. The level of play is outstanding.
  3. I believe so. There was absolutely no way my parents were going to make me eat that. That was a hill I was prepared to die on. They knew it, too.
  4. Well, they need depth for injuries. Besides, guys have to be pushed to make it competitive.
  5. That's TSN's problem. They own the TV rights but I doubt they own any streaming international rights. If it makes TSN pay up to have them then good. They've had a good thing going for along time at a cheap price. I'm all for more money & exposure. Maybe they'll actually take broadcasting the games more seriously & be better partners with the CFL because they sure don't do much now.
  6. Your quote I used was near the top of the previous page... Only 20 posts back, How is that diging anything up? Unless it's a shallow grave, The topic is still being discussed. So, it's valid as I see it. Not dead & buried for a year or more like some others. I didn't go into the archives to find it.
  7. "Hah there... How y'all doin' there boy? Yee Ha. In Alberta, we don't cancel nuthin'. Not lak ya city slickahs in Manitobee. Row-day-o is a way of laff. Even if it kills everyone. Lak mah hat?"
  8. Both my parents were raised on the farm. My Dad from Moosehorn & my Mom from Oakburn. Growing up, my Mom used to make this dish quite a bit. They both loved it. I refused to even taste it as it looked so terrible. My Dad used to say =, "You don't know what you're missing." I answered back, "Yes, I do." Jellied Pigs Feet is the absolutely most disgusting food humans ever created, That jelly is all fat.
  9. With single game betting, a full TV season as well as an 18 game regular season next year it is hoped that salaries will rise significantly in 2022.
  10. The ones that scream Freedom are the ones that do the least & then complain they have the right to be treated equally. That's Alberta's way & Noeller is right.
  11. Seems to be more of these problems with Moderna than Pfizer.
  12. You said Walby quit after I asked you. You also said anyone that retires before their contract expires are quitters. Even in the off season. I didn't say it. You did. Own it. People that say stupid things win stupid prizes.
  13. Hamilton qb David Watford has announced he has retired as per his twitter account. I tried screen shotting it with no success.
  14. Hamilton quarterback David Watford has just announced he has retired as per his twitter account this afternoon.
  15. No dude... All anyone has to do is read the exchange & judge for themselves.
  16. Screw you. You said what you said & now you're backing off? At least own it & what you said. Don't be a wimp denying it like a coward. I hate entitled fans like you thinking players owe you something when they don't.
  17. We had one that I know of. Bryant Mitchell. According to a certain poster here they didn't retire. They quit & don't deserve anyone celebrating their careers. They're all losers, he says.
  18. Fuggedabout the hole with people screaming. Christopher tells Tony & Paulie about the Hell he saw where the Italians play the Irish in poker in an Irish bar on St Patrick's Day which never ends & the Irish win every hand.
