  1. I heard that. Wayyy too much.

The venue may have been too small but it creates a sort of buzz about selling out really fast. Also makes tickets really desirable. Good on you for getting tickets! I'm sure it will be a blast. I wonder how it will sound on PPV? The pop has always meant a lot. ECW could always create a loud pop through the TV (with some audio assistance, I'm sure). I remember RAW in Toronto, at SkyDome, the first time. It was LOUD and it really played well on TV.
  3. I'm not sure why Florida would let Ekblad go. Perennial all-star on a $7.5M AAV agreement until 2024-25 for Trouba, one year of RFA left, who probably wants more AAV.
  4. That's for a pair of seats. $90 + fees ($13.50 service fee, $1 facility fee) for tickets at the 50. $20 + fees ($4.50 service fee, $1 facility fee) for end zone tickets.
  5. Mars One is dead The Mars colony startup was declared bankrupt by a Swiss court.
  6. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PEnnsylvania_6-5000 PEnnsylvania 6-5000 is a telephone number in New York City, written in the 2L+5N (two letters, five numbers) format that was common in the largest US cities from approximately 1930 into the 1960s. The named Pennsylvania exchange served the area around Penn Station in New York. The two letters, PE, stand for the numbers 7 and 3, making the phone number 736-5000, not including the later area code 212 for Manhattan.
  7. Quote from the article... Now onto the defensive line. Willie Jefferson is the top defensive end available and he’s at the top of the Blue Bombers’ wish list. The best pass rusher in the league is set to earn a huge payday — possibly up to $225,000 per season — and Winnipeg has the cap space to pay it. Is Jefferson REALLY at the top of the Bombers wish list? I'm dubious of this statement.
  8. Braley would like to have a word with you.
  9. Kind of makes sense, if he wants a close look at the talent. Eakins will be promoted next year.

  11. Done deal, I'm reading - Reilly to BC. Apparently, has cleared out his place in Edmonton. Edmonton may be worse than Saskatchewan next year. Depending what happens to BLM, it could be a two-horse (haha) race for 1st between Winnipeg and BC next year.
  12. BIG TIME rum hut.
  13. They said, post game, 30,000. I guess most were at the rum hut.
  14. If they really, really, tried, I don't think they could make those ref uniforms worse. It doesn't matter but, good lord, those are a horrible mess.
  15. I consider his time at Oregon State a huge success. He dragged that program to relevance. He competed against the Oregon Nike Ducks.
  16. He survived Lincoln, Nebraska. Lucky it wasn't following their heydays but he still had a rough go.
  17. Nelson, former Bomber, throws a pick. Big Nelson blows it.
  18. I know this is real football because Mike Martz is about to lose.
  19. HBO will definitely get my money when this comes out. I can't wait.

Anyone notice that Cactus Jack looks EXACTLY like Mankind? Makes you think doesn't it...
  21. It's football in February, so I'm going to give it a shot.
  22. I'm not saying I agree with the bit about preferring him over Bighill but I want JSK on this team. He's a good team player and learning fast. I want him to replace Bighill in a couple of years. I'm not discounting what his loss might mean to this team.
  23. Perfect. I can wait.
  24. If the PMO tried to interfere, JT would have to go.
