Blueballz got a reaction from SPuDS in Around The League Off Season Discussion
So apparently Maurice Price has filed his retirement papers with the league and doesn't plan on playing in 2016.

I would say our downfield blocking wasn't as good after Matthews and Watson...

Blueballz reacted to kelownabomberfan in Game 80 : Jets @ Duck, You Sucker!
yeah with nothing to play for other than spots on next year's team, the young guys are really in there busting their butts and putting in the work. It makes you wonder if we had started the year with this line-up.

At this point...somewhat happy to see no quit in some guys

I think it's disrespectful of Tanev to wear #13 as its offensive to my favorite ever Finnish player to play for Winnipeg. Hannu Jarvenpaa must be furious right now.

Good. Absolutely no need to put him out there.

Blueballz reacted to Ducky in Prospect Report
Not to mention Copp and De Leo in the 4th round. Roslovic will probably make the NHL too.
Players Chevy drafted in the 2013 draft with the round drafted...
Morrisseiy 1
Comrie 2
Petan2
Lodge 3
Lipon 3
Copp 4
Kostalek 4
Poolman 5
Kichton 7
Karlstrom 7
Five of these (bolded) have a really good chance of making the big league and that is almost unheard of. Poolman and Kostalek have a fairly good chance of making it. Lodge, Kichton and Karlstrom not so much

Burmi reminds me of the Steen-Lindstrom-Lundholm line of the 1980's Jets. Lots of skill but always one move too many.

Blueballz reacted to BigBlue in Wiecek Article: Pressure Mounts On And Off Field For MOS
Why is Wiecek focusing on MOS's family issues? Is he Ted Cruz or Donal Trump? Is "crying" a real football issue? Or is this just more headline grubbing by the incompetent, as Trump might say?
I am not sure about MOS's leadership .... he had one of the best examples of a coach anywhere in Pinball Clemons .... He has witnessed some of the best in football .... but why isn't it translating? Is he too authoritarian or its opposite? Was the team divided or cohesive last tear? I really can't tell.
Has the whole problem been (1) a lack of talent at the critical positions and (2) player leadership?
Is it (3) the lack of support from above?
Who has the diagnostic tools to actually nail down what the problems have truly been?
Yes how our BELOVED BLUE perform in the first 6 games in a very challenging early schedule is going to be the measure of MOS's manhood, in the football sense. By game 8 we will know whether he has the right stuff.
But what his family life has to do with BOMBER-MANIA I can not fathom.

Blueballz reacted to Noeller in Wiecek Article: Pressure Mounts On And Off Field For MOS
While I understand that winning is the be all and end all, I don't think you can say "He's a good coach" or "He's a bad coach" simply based on W/L. There's more that determines coaching ability.

Much higher chance of being killed in a car accident than by a terrorist no matter the country, bad luck either way. Brussels is a nice place to visit, can't live life in the shadow of fear.

Blueballz reacted to Taynted_Fayth in Fighting In Hockey
from what I can tell, fighting does a few positive things,
1. shows your support sticking up for a teammate that im sure doesnt go unappreciated thus making the locker room tighter.
2. it fires up the teams, especially when you need a spark trailing.
3. it excites the fans, which sometimes is needed when the home side is losing, get the fans back into it.

Genysis was far too confusing/complex for its own good. Some aspects of the story were ok, but in the end it seemed like a really unnecessary part of the franchise. If i had my way, I'd have just continued on from Salvation and brought the end of the war. the end. But i guess that just keeps looping back to T1, the humans win and as a last ditch effort skynet sends back a terminator to 1984 over and over again.
they really should have stopped the franchise at T2 (maybe went in the direction of a terminator tv chronicling the war), because with their attack on Cyberdyne to obtain the terminator parts they were using to breed new tech, they could have just said we ended the threat. T3 made it a gong show by saying no matter what Judgement Day was inevitable, so any preemptive attacks were futile, only difference being it changes when it happens not if.
Id be curious to see if T6 would ignore genysis and pick up from Salvation, and show the humans actually win. I dunno how you skip around that time travel aspect, but maybe make the time traveling device the number one priority first and foremost. If we're to believe Judgement Day would happen irregardless, then just make it without time travel loop holes and be a straight forward disaster and then eventual victory.

Blueballz reacted to iso_55 in Donald Trump
I don't think Trump has the support of Blacks, Muslims, Latinos & Women to win the Presidential election after what he says & the way he acts. Every moderate Republican either won't vote for him or vote Democratic (Clinton). As far as rioting if he doesn't win the GOP nomination that's not his voter base. They won't riot. More likely they'll just stay home & not vote. I do think he does incite hatred among other things so the riot comments were done to put fear in the Republican Party to make it a brokered convention if he doesn't have the 1,237(?) delegates to win. Lord help us if he does.

Blueballz reacted to Taynted_Fayth in Donald Trump
I honestly dont think the drumpf will be as bad as he portrays atm. No way most the **** he says will actually happen, hes just being outlandish for the publicity, banking that any publicity is good publicity. Seems his campaign over shadows everyone else on both sides and it might actually end up helping him with the voters who "gotta vote for someone". Not the greatest tactic, but who knows, it has yet to obliterate him at the polls

Blueballz got a reaction from wbbfan in Bombers FA Signings 2016
The signing of E. Cummings makes for an interesting battle at DT...the way Richie Hall mixes up the front line should be interesting.
We still need a DE opposite Westerman though...why not bring Alex Hall back?

Blueballz got a reaction from Goalie in 2016 Draft Standings
To be honest I like where we are...like someone already posted when was the last time a last place team won the lottery?
If we finish bottom 1-4 we still have a great chance of getting a good player

Creed was really good. I enjoyed it more then I thought I would.
I don't think Rocky's kid would play into being a boxer seeing as how in Rocky Balboa he's a skinny guy that works in an office. You don't just start becoming a boxer all of a sudden unless you're already a big guy. I think they would just let him pass and continue on with Michael B Jordan, but who knows.

Gonna finally watch Creed this weekend...looking forward to it. My dad was a body builder when I was a kid and lived for those Rocky training montages. I was raised on those movies. Have heard good things about the new one...
