  1. I can say from personal experience as a fan that Wilder is a guy who is easy to throw off his game, and takes selfish penalties. I watched him jabber with other Bomber fans instead of focus on getting the job done when he played in Wpg with the Boatmen
  2. Planet Earth snooze fest Did David Attenborough Foresee Elk upset?
  3. Edmonton coach pleading with officials that it was Sean Whyte's birthday and he also was just short of 1,500 points. Gotta say never seen it overturned like that though
  4. How much would it take to get Sean Whyte here?
  5. On the plus side, Niklas Gustav (the listed BC global player) has missed exactly 0 field goals thus far in the game. So he's already better than Yamasaki.
  6. Always liked Lucky Whitehead. He got a raw deal in 2017 when at training camp for the Cowboys, he was falsely accused of petty larceny, and was immediately released by the Cowboys, only for it to later be revealed that it was a case of mistaken identity.
  7. Sparse at Best - new Lions tagline!
  8. CFL should double the points on FGs that go in off an upright lol. Also, if it's a deadball that bounces out, it should be worth 2 lmfao.
  9. Jesus, imagine what Michael Reiley could do with even a semblance of an offensive line.
  10. Can't see it happening (we don't even have his rights), but it'd be something if Lirim Hahawuogighaekgw gets cut from the Cowboys, and returns to us from the NFL...
  11. Alright, i dont normally care about power rankings... But can anyone else remember a time where an undefeated team sat at the BOTTOM of the rankings (Ottawa)? Might be justified, but still just odd.
  12. Bryan Burnham
  13. Not true. Harris was the most outstanding player (MOP) of the Grey Cup. Our lord and saviour Brandon Banks is the reigning 2019 MOP (Most Outstanding Princess). Two totally different things.
  14. I would def agree on catching the ball on the air... I know Jovon Johnson always used to let it bounce which drove me insane. If you're back there... You should have good enough hands to catch it on the fly. The Argos in the last game got flagged a few times for no yards and it definitely helped with field position.
  15. Yep. From what I remember, he had 2 punt returns for touchdowns at home against Calgary in the 1st half, but then also fumbled late in the first half trying to do too much.
  16. Absolutely Edwards was elite...in the latter part of his career he was the guy though. He had supporting cast like Jade Etienne, whereas Adams had Wolitarsky. My point is Edwards was more integral to the offense (and looked to more frequently) than Adams during his prime.
  17. I think that is more indicative of how bad the other receivers around Edwards were, as opposed to how much better than Darvin he was. Also, our current O (notably 2019) was definitely a run first offense.
  18. Harris is miles ahead of Oliveria. Oliviera may be great later in his career, but right now he is still developing. Even just having Harris in the lineup helps, he drastically alters opponents scheming because they have to respect that he is just such a good release valve for Collaros. Also, as a vet, he is way less likely to miss blocking assignment than Brady, which makes blitzing riskier. Not relevant to our current injury situation, but man I miss Streveler.
  19. Hope he plays. Probably one of the only Bombers that talks good trash and backs it up with his playstyle to match. He always follows through on blocking assignments, too. Oh yeah and he's a great deep threat, but I think everyone here would know him for that.
  20. Imagine being such a bad QB that the doctor's just like "Nah man, it ain't broken or anything, you just suck. Maybe try using the other arm?"
  21. You dont get that rich by being a nice guy.
  22. Its all political. Let thembe high, who cares? I prefer opponents fat and happy when we face them.
  23. Pretty darn sure it is. The ballot is technically considered property of our fine government. Eating it would be a felony pretty sure but cannot source
  24. Meh, regarding addictions (alcohol, gambling etc.) realistically it is always going to be around. VLTs etc. are a huge cash cow for the province, as well as the MLCC, both negatively impact marginalized people drastically. What's the alternative though? Outlaw it? Then it goes underground, and any support groups available become nonexistent, on top of that, the government wouldn't get their cut to boot. It's good ol' capitalism hypocrisy at its' finest, so much of the marketed stuff at sporting events is bad for you not just the gambling and the booze - the unhealthy food as well. You try to police any of that and you'll be lambasted for taking away the consumers' choice. TLDR; Riders suck.
