  1. His point is easy to understand: there are better options than Greg Carr. To seriously suggest him as an option is laughable.
  2. "Nah, a carbon tax will fix everything," said nobody ever.
  3. Comparing him to Hurl is pretty unreasonable. He's a depth receiver, where as Hurl is the starting MLB.
  4. Yeah, a QB needs to show the ability to make more than just his first read. Davis looked mostly terrible on Saturday and there's no excuse for it.
  5. Pathetic game called by LaPolice (seems to be a trend lately) and the fact Harris had only one touch on the ground in the first 15 mins. is absolutely bewildering.
  6. Richie Hall should be embarrassed with himself and his garbage systems. Personnel changes were made and the results in 2017 essentially mirror the previous two seasons. I can't see this team winning the WSF, and Hall should be the first to go the morning after that game.
  7. Is this regime on the hot seat? Absolutely not. Does this regime need to re-evaluate key issues immediately? Absolutely yes.
  8. Might as well include Carr in that list. Jamie Barresi was the OC during his tenure with the Bombers.
  9. The most dominant period I've seen from the Jets in forever. What an onslaught! El Capitan with the sick third goal to get his first hatty as a Jet, too.

  11. LeFevour is a short-yardage/jumbo package QB only. His decision making and ball accuracy as a regular QB are pathetic. I was shocked at how out of sorts Davis looked today. Once he started using his legs he seemed to settle in, but I expected way more from him.
  12. Clueless comment. You don't fire the HC of a team in the playoffs and second in the division.
  13. Total team bed-shitting at IGF today. Started just like the loss at home to the Ti-Cats a few weeks ago: easy march down the field by the opponent for a major. This team is in serious trouble.
  14. That makes no sense. I want Hall gone as much as anyone but firing him now is the equivalent of the WFC proclaiming "we made a mistake" and "the post-season doesn't matter," like waving the white flag. It's not going to happen. He'll get fired in the day after the defense gives up 500+ in the WSF.
  15. http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/spain-catalonia-friday-1.4374771 Muy loco!
  16. Two words: Marc Bergevin. The Arizona Coyotes are off the worst start by a NHL team in the expansion era: http://www.tsn.ca/coyotes-off-to-worst-start-in-post-original-six-era-1.897828
  17. I think tomorrow's game is a must-win for the Bombers, as they need to bounce back from last week's loss and close out the home schedule on a high note, as well as secure that home playoff game (I'd rather not see them get that game by having to rely on an opponent losing). It's also a should-win simply based on the opponent: the Lions are licking their wounds and are now only playing for pride and evaluation for next season. While the Bombers can't take them lightly, they should be able to take full advantage of a team in 2018 Mode and take care of their own business on home turf. Also, I think it goes without saying that a playoff game is a must-win for the Bombers. That's the next step in moving forward for the current regime.
  18. If not for the crossover rule, they'd be out of contention and one position above the basement, though. No doubt it's an improvement but the Riders still have a losing record within the division, so this idea they're playing with house money seems a bit silly. Even more so when you consider their situation beyond the 2017 season. One has to wonder if what's being done there is sustainable. As for the Bombers, in year 2 under the current regime Walters and O'Shea were both sophomore GM and HC, respectively. While Jones is a sophomore GM, this is technically his fourth season as a HC. Bit of a different situation when you look at the two closely.
  19. A Grey Cup in Halifax would be absolutely unreal!
  20. Still have to have someone front the money for a venue and a franchise, though. Fan support is a big thing, too. But if executed properly, similar to what we've seen in Ottawa, I have no reason to think a CFL franchise in the Maritimes wouldn't get fan support.
  21. All pertinent questions, to be sure. 2018 should be an interesting year in Jonestown.
  22. The expectations for the Bombers have been higher since Walters and O'Shea took over, though. Decades long drought and whatnot. I still don't see how the Riders are playing with house money, though.
