  1. It was also an East Final in what was supposed to be, at that time, the last ever game at CanadInns Stadium.
  2. No, just no. There is no evidence whatsoever that public ownership is better than private ownership.
  3. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/quebec-niqab-bill-62-legal-challenge-face-covering-1.4390962 Interesting. I thought face coverings such as the niqab were cultural, not religious.
  4. He's a solid O-lineman and has earned his keep the last two seasons as a rotating piece. Durability was a concern in the past for him and that adversely affected his stock, IMO. For what he is, he's an important asset.
  5. Absolutely comical how multiple posters here have quoted him and called him out on his nonsense, not just in this thread but several others in the past. His pitiful response: fixate on just one and launch a personal attack. And I'm the creepy one. I'll let the thread and reactions speak for themselves.
  6. According to Dana White, a GSP vs. Whitaker bout will happen. GSP was great on Saturday. Bloody impressive for someone who hasn't been in the octagon for four years. All in all, UFC 217 was an excellent card. Three title fights, three new champions.
  7. I guess everyone who calls out your garbage posting is creepy, too. Try again, Terry.

  9. https://www.cfl.ca/2017/11/07/cflpa-announces-tom-pate-award-nominees/ Montreal Alouettes Stephen Adekolu (WR) Ottawa REDBLACKS Alex Mateas (C) Toronto Argonauts Jamal Campbell (OL) Hamilton Tiger-Cats Courtney Stephen (DB) Winnipeg Blue Bombers Chris Randle (DB) Saskatchewan Roughriders Makana Henry (DL) Calgary Stampeders Josh Bell (DB) Edmonton Eskimos Adarius Bowman (SB) BC Lions Emmanuel Arceneaux (SB)
  10. "The BC Lions mailed it in and the Calgary Stampeders were a disinterested team last week." Hard for anyone to take a person seriously when he passes off his opinion as fact, much less agree with his horribly egotistical personal adage "being right never gets old."
  11. Agreed. The Knights are actually looking pretty competitive and Hellebuyck is playing some fantastic hockey; ride the hot hand. Mason gets the desert hounds the next day in the land of no hockey fans.
  12. 4-0 thus far ( vs. MIN, @ MIN, vs. DAL, @ DAL) with the next Central Division matchup on Nov. 20 in Nashville. That'll be a good test for this team. Myers and Kulikov have been great additions (I know Myers wasn't an add in the same sense as Kulikov but his absence last season was significant). They make a great pairing, too.
  13. Agreed. I think last week's performance was a huge boost to the defense, the D-line in particular. They gotta be amped to replicate it, especially in front of what should be a loud and raucous crowd.
  14. I hope LaPolice decides to bide his time and continue his tenure with the Bombers. I don't think either situation in Montreal or Vancouver is going to be a good one for whoever takes the HC job.
  15. They didn't have everyone available back in week 15 when they lost at home to the Bombers...?
  16. Piss on useless power rankings. Enjoy this read instead: http://www.tsn.ca/bombers-star-harris-says-details-bond-with-o-line-led-to-rushing-title-1.907537
  17. Another bloody impressive win over a division rival. Hellebuyck is playing some absolutely unreal hockey. Scheifele with 2, Laine with another in his third straight game (insanely awesome goal), Connor with one, and El Capitan gets helpers on all four.
  18. And then Young goes on the defensive: The most successful HC in CFL history...?
  19. No Dressler in either game vs. the Eskimos this season. Hopefully, he'll be a huge factor next Sunday.
  20. http://3downnation.com/2017/11/04/roughriders-forced-relocate-fan-seating-due-falling-snow/ But, but, but Mosaic is the greatest stadium in Canada... NFL calibre.
