I am impressed with this signing something to build the team around. I thought after last season he was gone!!

That golf match was awful. Can't stand Kadri and my feed also blacked out several times.
It sucked to see Sask win but Harris seems like a class act and happy for Hardrick

It all came to down to that Als fumble at the goal line. If they score there, you've got a ball game.

I would rather have dipped my balls in lava then see the Riders win a Grey Cup in our stadium. So gross.

Damn, the Riders winning it in our stadium is a low point of my Bomber fandom. Especially after the way the last 3 went, and how the offseason was handled coming into this year.
Got a big “it’s ok, we already got your money” vibe from the club this season.

It was nice to see Alexander humbled a bit. As I said up thread, as much as I hate the Riders its hard to not feel good for Trevor Harris.

Osh is 7th among all time winning head coaches. Seventh.
To bet that the Bombers could find a better head coach then him would require an all time stroke of luck.
There is definitely an argument to say his time has or will need to come to an end. I personally thought he was going to Toronto.
I am mostly just pointing out that he is not nearly as stupid as some here would have you believe.

Willie is one of my all time favourite Bombers, and even I can see that he needs to be more of a complimentary piece at this stage of his career. I’d like to see him stay on in that role but we need to have new guys as the primary DE’s.

100 agree... I'm happy he's staying... but nervous about who he wants to stay with him... please, please, please no Jake and Kolo...
and as much as I still see a role for Willie (and even Vaughters)... If I had to choose those two or the two raw rookies we saw in game 18... I'll take the rookies

I figure the arrogant Osh will end up in Toronto and it may be a good thing for the Bombers. Their cup run is done and time for new blood to lead the squad. I am forever grateful for what he did for this club but it is not the worst time for a change.

You're probably too young to remember or even experienced but the final Bud Grant year in 1966, I believe they were 10-6 or 9-7 & finished second losing to the Riders in the Western Best of 3 series 2-0. Grant left for Minnesota in 1967. Grant did a minor retooling like you suggest after finishing 3-12-1 in 63 & 1-15 in 1964. They went 11-5 in 65 & got back to the GC to lose to Hamilton.
The 1967, 68 & 69 seasons under Joe Zaleski were dismal. Hit rock bottom under Jim Spavital in 70 going 2-14, My point. To avoid walking off a cliff some of the vets Osh likes should have been gone 2 years ago & replaced. with younger & cheaper players. Had Bud Grant not relied on so many aging vets in the mid 60's the team would have been years ahead of where they ended up in 1970. If Osh does come back then nothing will change. He'll still be loyal to a fault to Thomas, Kolo & other vets getting long in the tooth. That is when I believe this team will step off a cliff.
Look at how Wally Buono ran the Stamps & Lions. Never afraid to make the changes he saw fit. Letting veterans who could sgtill play but wanted top dollar go & replacing them with younger players who didn't cost as much. That philosophy made him the winningest coach in CFL history. Wally cut Allen Pitts after having a thousand yard season in 2000 for crying out loud. Who does that??? He replaced Pitts with rookie Marc Boerigter who was an impact receiver before heading soiuth to the NFL Chiefs. With Osh, would Bo even had got a chance?? What a ballsy move that was.

I think the OL isn't as far gone as some think.
Better scheme and better centre I think go a long long way to making them a respectable group.

Seems to be for sure. I don't think we replace Collaros this year because there doesn't seem to be many options and he has a large portion of his salary guaranteed. However, I think our QB room behind him is getting a massive shake up. I don't see Streveler or Wilson back.

I’d keep Brady cuz basically you’re sending the wrong message to 32000 people if you let Brady and Demski walk after you let Kenny walk the season prior and in this scenario, O’Shea walking this year. I mean I dunno, I think the local guys are worth it. Our Canadian talent needs to be improved. You ain’t doing that letting your 2 best walk. 32000 might become 25 26 pretty quickly.

The reality is that the Bomber team of 2025 was so pathetic that he would have made no difference at all.

I think they could have used him this year only because the Cup is here. They should have broke the bank for a game changer like him. Any other year I would agree with letting him go.

Randolph was addition by subtraction.  He was better than Lofton but he still wasn't particularly good.
To be honest, I don't think there's a single "untouchable" or cornerstone guy left on our offensive line.  I'd say Big Stan (for his leadership more than anything) but I his days as a premier tackle are behind him.

I'm not going on & on about Hardrick. If you read what I said, you'll see I agreed with letting him go. What I don't like is Walters re-signing Schoen (& I posted so at the time) but I was very unhappy letting Lawler go. Then Walters not signing an adequate replacement. BTW, did you notice on Saturday Liam Dobson was the starting Center for Hamilton & didn't look out of place. What do we have??? Well, we have an Osh Boy in Kolankowski wasting a roster spot & money there. Walters couldn't keep Dobson? Yeah, right. What ****.
