  1. Past hour
  2. Sterns has started every game and been with the 1's basically since Day 1.
  3. Don't give osh ideas
  4. It means he can sub in for Antwi 25 snaps. Otherwise he has to sub in for an American, so basically one of the receivers. Calgary is down Barnes, Alford and Philpot. Pretty thin on O.
  5. VA out for Calgary is HUGE!
  6. https://3downnation.com/2025/07/30/hamilton-tiger-cats-release-former-second-round-cfl-draft-pick-kyle-samson-sign-one/ Could get Samson back now. Go for the all Cdn DT dline!
  7. Maybe but still better than losing him to an Ehlers like FA next July 1. Gives him time to develop more, and the Jets time to see where they want to go.
  8. I suggest that so long as O'Shea is in charge, the player changes will be token changes unless driven by necessity.
  9. One would absolutely expect Streveler's INT and even reception numbers to be worse than Collaros' stats due to lack of first-unit reps. That Streveler went to Stearns often and successfully last game was probably a reflection of them working out together as second-team players. That Streveler did as well as he did in a losing cause is encouraging.
  10. Confirmed - VAJ is out, PJ Walker gets the start. Don't want to take Ottawa but Walker didn't exactly inspire confidence when he went in last week.
  11. Can anyone decipher the Stamps depth chart and know what Mills status is? Kind of looks like he is a designated nationalized american for this game? Listed as (26 MILLS*) DA... I think the parenthesis around him and the square brackets around Antwi mean Designated Nationalized American? That would mean a snap limit for him?
  12. You have to think they would look to player changes before coaching changes.
  13. Today
  14. If another loss on Friday, even an ugly loss, doesn't provide the impetus for coaching changes, then we are likely strapped in for the rest of the year with only a dim prospect of making the western playoffs.
  15. Ya no way to know. Would have loved to find out. The injuries to the receivers last year would have screwed any QB. Ya no way to know. Would have loved to find out. 16. Yeah...but would he have gotten hurt here how he did there?...That's something that can't be determined and not like it was some chronic injury we knew he had and had issues with it here...And in 2023/2024 if he was handed the reigns after ZC got his noodle rocked in Edm....he did have significantly better talent and coaching all around him...so hard to say if he would have got beat up...he never really did when he did play...and his price tage would have allowed us to retain say a Lawler...or go after some legit FA talent.....coulda woulda shoulda I guess eh?
  17. 15 2025 STREVELER, Chris WPG 6 47 74 63.5 558 5 3 92.1 4.1 7.5 16 2025 COLLAROS, Zach WPG 5 90 124 72.6 1,031 7 8 89.1 6.5 8.3 Just outta curiosity....where our QB's rank in efficiency in the league...there only 5 guys below our guys...Looney tunes...Crum....Shiltz...Masoli and P.J Walker...not a very glowing picture...especially with one guy pulling in top dollar in the whoile league ZC has an average pass a bit higher than Strev but his int percentage is higher.....ZC numbers are all based on 1st team reps...starting 5 games....game plan tailored to him for most part...all the starter prep Strev 1 start...sporadic use from unexpected ZC being yanked from game....First start with all the prep ZC got was good...and very promising....so question is....with say 2...3 games as the starter..with all the prep that goes into it....an actual game plan created to play to his strengths and what he does well, does he progress and show legit ability....and would it be smart/worth the effort and allow ZC to sit and heal...get his head straight....whatever the issue is? Use this opportunity to gauge what we have....where we at...who may give this offence the best chance to actually sustain some kind of momentum?.....discuss
  18. Agree with that but with how healthy Brown has been since he left I don't know where we'd be now. With Brown more money freed up elsewhere, but our oline would have got him killed too.
  19. Collaros started the year as the MOP front runner and the fell off HARD and Brady was the guy that dragged the offense along the rest of the year (and has since). Was plain as day what was happening and the Bombers went the "safe" route rather than taking the risk which ultimately would have been better for the team.
  20. I'll make that change. Make a pick this week.
  21. yup....he also makes play calls...with who he wants on the field...if he didn't he wouldn't have the play card...head set...a coordinator will create the scheme and basic alignments...the NC more times thn not will confer and direct what he wants...or suggests...thats just how it works. No C-Ord will get total control unless its a guy like Richie Hall or Lapo who have oodles of experience and trust
  22. Hoping for guys late in the yr tho....fools game...gotta do things now and if/when those guys come free and we have the opportunity to sign them....well even better...you just exponentially upgraded your starters and depth. By the time some those options could be available we may be in such a hole no player is gonna want to sign on here save for Wilson who has no choice....and that may just make him wait it out the whole yr too
  23. good teams...have the balls and the foresight....forward thinking/looking....we have failed badly at that....no succession plan for any vet that just doesnt have it anymore...or for a guy who chose to move on.....let alone any injury we incur Can always say it's easy to say now...but a lot of the good coach/G.M's from the past made the moves to the dismay of fans and did quite well in doing so Regular season success and stats are all fine and dandy if that is what you look at as a successful season, but when rubber meets road and you falling on your face when it matters due to some pretty obvious reasons, then things need to be switched up Name a yr in the 5 where ZC carried us and we won because of him?....other than the WF last yr which was a combination of a horrid Sask defensive gae plan...and Lawler doing what you pay him the big bucks for....I can't think of any where he grabbed the team by the bootstraps and dragged us to victory And now we don't have a Lawler to do that, or any real game breaker receivers to bail out ZC Nor do we have any real difference maker/impact defensive guys who can take over a game with momentum shifting plays, so we in tough right now with this current configuration of the team and thats not even taking into accoubnt what has been a lot of piss poor coaching and preparation of late Will another dud on Friday, and dropping 4 straight to go to under .500 cause any changes?...sure as hell hope so, and better be They always say it's tough to win back to back against a team...and should be especially so when at home...well CGY ate our lunch...stole our car and took our chick home....if the Ago's do the same....**** better hit the fan inside the walls of PA stadium
  24. 2023...was the start of the decline...and been onging...
  25. It was the start of his fall off but don't act like he was garbage. He threw for 33 TDs. Brown played great that season but it would have taken balls to move on from ZC. Clearly too big of a gamble for Walters and OSH.
