They'll fight hard losing close games Like tonight trying to make Ford an actual qb until they can't anymore. BY then, it'll be too late & the Elks season will be lost. When that happens, the Elks will fall apart & another year will be wasted by a coaching staff trying to do domething that won't happen. Turning Ford into a pocket passer.

What about a LOTW where you get a strike removed if your guy gets 2 td’s or more. Asking for a friend 😬
-
I'd love to see collaros run like he did on the TD more. That kind of escape act used to be his bread and butter. Too often now he just plays tackling dummy when the pocket breaks down. couple of those deep shots were absolute dimes... and the refs were utterly embarrassing. WJ by rights should have had 2 more sacks except the LOLks offensive line was allowed to wrap an arm around his neck if he got too close to Ford. The PI that took away the Holm interception was the biggest joke of a call I have ever seen. Dude trips on his own feet and it takes away an INT. Gross.
-
Calvillo also talked about how as a backup that Ham as a veteran qb taught him how to prepare & be ready to play. Ham helped him & Trestman did as well. Having great talent around him at every position offensively did as well. Anyway, this topic isn't worth diagreeing over. It takes more than one person to build a qb. He played well tonight.

Zach with twice as many rushing yards than Ford. -
Kramdi was especially growly tonight, almost had 2 punchouts.

6 hours after this post and voila!

@lyin' guy read the other thread I know you've seen this but are ghosting it
-
They showed a replay in the stadium where the camera must have been lying on the turf that showed it pretty clearly being trapped. Even after that lengthy delay after they showed that replay I don't even think the crowd was that into the booing
-
Man. I love watching some haters like @lyin' guy and most RF members meltdown over the bombers dominance Willy J being held on every play but 0 calls "The bombers o line always holds:(:(::(:(::( why do the refs hate everyone besides the bombers :(??" Biggest baby in these forums. I once DM'd him extending sympathy for people jumping on his dumb opinions saying "dude, its the internet. It's ok" He extended thanks despite knowing he was wrong Now he cries and cries Placating to riders fans I have the screenshots of our private messaging. PLEASE PLEASE call me out on this @lyin' guy

He was better in pass rush than he has been, a bit worse in run stopping but that was a good struggle for the front 6 in general tonight so it isn’t all on him, pass cover he was his usual self. Too shallow never in place to prevent a pass but rallies to the ball wherever it goes. Better than biggie any way. Kyrie played his best game of the year but still far off where he needs to be.
-
I literally said out loud to myself..."does that guy come up whining to the refs after every sack?" We're talking about the Bomber's game, right?
-
How bout this to, shanky legs averaged 43.8 per punt but with no hang time at all and leake gobbled up an easy 13.6 per return. 30.2 net which set up a ton of drives from mid field. Grace net was 39. Poor Sheahan must’ve been punting into that wind all night 🤧
-
You may be right but It would have been nice to get half as many angles on it as they gave the Bonds non-interception instead of one from outside the stadium.
-
Edmonton's best runs were mostly draws. Under 4 ypc on 1st downs. Still trying to make Ford a real QB. Won't implement RPO system that would give him a chance to be lethal.
-
Honestly I’m still torn on that one. His second arm placement, he tucks it and rolls, it was a mess even with a ton of angles all day to review and nearly frame by frame slow mo. I can’t stand that inconsistency though. If that’s how you review, do it every time. You can’t work that hard to over turn a call once in a while. They get way to many calls wrong and miss to many to be taking that much time to make one random call right. But if you’re gonna do that, you gotta do em all like that. Them giving up on the run when the game was close was soo stupid. They could’ve gone ground n pound on us. In general mak used a lot of bomber ball stuff tonight. Jet motion, izr, the motion screen etc. but he got away from what had them in a position to win the game. Much better team than I expected them to be though. And they aren’t a free spot on the bingo card any more. They get more confident and start expecting to compete each game and it’ll yield results.
-
It was pretty obvious from every view but there was a camera right at field level that showed it 100%. It bounces off the turf and back into his numbers without him having control of it.
-
And when wind is a factor (and even when its not), another reason why establishing a run game is so vital.
-
Forget the hot air blowing all day about phantom wind (real or not, impactful or not.) The coaching decision of the day to talk about is not challenging the dpi. 3 point swing with possession, and that was the worst dpi in ages. That call was so offensively soft and wrong it deserved to be challenged no matter yardage or points. That was disgusting.
-
Granted it may have been the right call but there was nothing on replay that supported it. Every angle was either motion blurred, too far away or blocked.
-
Kilam takes the wind in the 2nd quarter and it's a much tighter game. Gave it to us in both long quarters when he chose the ball. Probably cost his team 6 points at least.
-
Exactly. There was no clear/incontrovertible evidence on replay that ball touched the ground. None.
