  1. Past hour
  2. He first broke into head coaching in 2015 as the interim hc of ssk. He’s been the rbs hc since 22. Two full seasons plus almost a half. We are way way past learning quickly on the job. I love bobby dyce. Great football mind, excellent talent evaluator, tremendous guy. He’s been coaching in the league for 22 years and he’s already 2.5 into this hc job. The leash is gonna be real short on him, and if it doesn’t work out he doesn’t likely get another hc shot short of some thing miraculous.
  3. Lots of nice guy head coaches get fired. He's Canadian with experience & is a competent STC so even if he's fired he'd get on a staff somewhere.
  4. You may be right but I hope you’re wrong. BD is just a guy who is so easy to cheer for. I just hope he ends up where he best contributes.
  5. Do we need a dedicated social thread now?? Funny how HCB mentions the food & farts but not women. As my Ukrainian uncle used to say with a thick accent... "If I tell you no stories, I tell you no lies."
  6. Learn quickly? Dyce has had all kinds of time. He's a STC not a HC. What's going to save him is he's in the first year of probably a 3 year deal. Why they reupped him is a good question.
  7. yup and when the food came out at midnight that usually entailed crackers, meet, cheese, pickles etc that did wonders on everyone’s breath and sharing of gas.
  8. NHL players must prefer guys. One of the best young qbs to come into the league. His OL almost took him out by blocking his man into his knee. Dumb OL.
  9. Ottawa's secondary was 100% bad last year, and this year too. Might not be personnel.
  10. Today
  11. Actually not just Canada..that was also something a lot of players would say as well about wpg
  12. Great times at the socials back in the day....One of the best places to be in the Peg and I'm going back to the 70's ...Great food ...a lot of booze and what was known all over Canada, at one time....prettiest women in the country😘
  13. your pop's is a good man! 🤘 its 25 isnt it?
  14. south perimeter is how I go there from Island Lakes...mo real issues that way other than the normal summer traffic
  15. A little off -topic but...Has anyone driven on Abinoji east and then tried to get onto Pembina going south towards the stadium?? If not, you're in for an adventure in frustration at all the construction awaiting you on Pembina. The Pembina bridge roadway is torn up, pylons everywhere, and several lanes are closed. Thinking maybe the south Perimeter to avoid this?? construction east of the red river bridge and lane closures both directions.
  16. With that stache and mullet he looks like every guy attending a social in Manitoba in 1987...
  17. hello, let me introduce you to TBurg....
  18. 100% turnover in the secondary from last season might not be the way to go.
  19. This kid Alexander looked pretty good....laser type passing and he can run...what's not to like....On the other hand the real Arbuckle showed up ....you know the one who beat us in the Cup....Bluto is now gone into a depression of sorts, with the thought that Arbuckle might have to suit up again, if Kelly is still out....and that they may have bigger problems on the club than their missing starter
  20. Craft beer sucks.
  21. Pretty sure TCB has overtaken all of them or will overtake them in short order. Helps to be owned by the Princess Auto family.
  22. Or he’ll learn quickly on the job and progress into a really good CFL HC. Thats my hope for him.
  23. Everyone gets basically all their hops from the same place... The Yakima "Hop Cartel"... It's essentially the best place in the world to get hops, so everyone pays them a ridiculous amount of money on a big contract. Lots have tried to grow their own hops, and I know some in AB are trying local hops, but it's pretty much all **** compared to Yakima.
  24. Wait so you're telling me breweries in winnipeg don't do water adjustments? That's also a bullshit argument too. Calgary has hard water as well. I don't know what winnipeg is like but I know Calgary is comparable to Munich and I think the Germans managed to brew ok... Hard water does lend itself better to malt forward beers where as soft water does make the hop character shine through more but even a ton of people who home brew adjust their water to the style they're making.
