  2. I don't blame the team for moving on from Dru Brown at that time Zach was still playing really well. What I don't get is that extension in the off season... last year Zach was terrible (outside of the Edmonton game) and they gave him another year before seeing if he was going to bounce back? What makes it double dumb is we have Strev who I "assumed" was going to take over for Zach , so delaying the transition for another year? IMO this season should of been a season where Zach takes less snaps and Strev gets more play time. If Zach came back and lit up the league with an MOP season then we pay him the money. If he plays like how he has played so far this season (poorly) the team would officially make Strev our starter now with Zach as the veteran back up insurance. During the off season we offer Zach a nice veteran backup offer and only keep him at a fraction of his cost as veteran backup. Nearly every team is set at QB so if Edmonton were willing to offer him 650 k to start next season then so be it. Sign Fajardo as a back up for $300k an use that money savings from Zach for an all star free agent....
  3. As a casual observer... it just feels like we can't recruit like what we used to recruit. OR O'Shea used to give these new guys a chance and nowdays they are ignored and not given a chance. 3 - 5 years ago every off season we always were worried on what awesome players we are going to lose to free agency. After this season who in the hell is going to sign our free agents (outside of Hamilton)? We have lots of dead weight.
  4. I remember as a kid having a tonne of Ninja Turtles themed - Pizza Flavoured KD... as a kid it was salty delicious. You can make it yourself by making mac and cheese and then adding Kraft pizza sauce into it.
  5. The decision is one that teams who contend for a long time have to make. Collaros has been on borrowed time since 2018. Dru Brown was insanely productive and with enough reps to know it wasn't a mirage. Like double the reps Mike Reilly had before Edmonton handed him the keys and contended for the next half decade. Wally Buono made similar decisions about 4 times in his career. Basically could have handed Collaros back to Hamilton or maybe even Toronto to play out his career. Not the worst thing, it's where they live (his family). Tough decision, but those have to be made. No one would have been worse off. Collaros playing pretty poorly in terms of putting up points in playoff games since the 2019 playoffs would have helped my decision making.

  7. Which bodes well for us...to bad they didnt have kiss of death CFL refugee on top if it...be sure bets to be cut
  8. I agree, I’d put the number at 0. Short of him completely imploding as a person and doing some thing that involves arrest. those changes seldom lead to success as well imo. The in season adjustments we could at most see is shifting some role stuff and taking power away. But I don’t think we’d know if that happened. imo very high for 1, very low for 2. I think it’ll be Walters who bites it. He might return to the oua, which might be framed any which way. We’ve already lost a lot of front office types. Now Mac is taking gm interviews.
  9. They are both UDFA's in NFL camps right now.
  10. Yesterday
  11. And can't be trusted....
  12. Banks has the size 6'4"vs 6'1" but Singer has a much better yards per catch. and played in the NFL
  13. Almost ready to be a full time podcaster 😁
  14. What I want to know is will KD follow suit? who am I kidding I don't even like Pizza flavoured anything except pizza (no I do not put pizza flavoring on Pizza it defeats the purpose) but will we get these?
  15. Walters and MOS are both up after this year. I expect Miller brings both back
  16. Will have to wait until tomorrow to find out he has a Thorax Injury or something
  17. Id say odds of an extension are high
  18. what is Collaros status??
  19. Almost perfect! You forgot this however. It's an ancient thing from many years ago (for you youngsters LOL)
  20. Snafu, we kept bridges because he was pencilled in as the starter going into camp. Only mos’ pencil drips pen ink and still shows through considerable amounts of white out. Db was a tough battle at camp. Gowan could’ve been a pr guy for a while and I wouldn’t be stunned if he was in camp next year. A ton of guys performed well at db, other than bridges lol. Out back up and cut defence might’ve been better than our first month starters. If not it would’ve been pretty close.
  21. SAM should be one of your best....if not best all around LB/DB's....impactful and uber athletic...Kramdi is none the above...solid player in a role and depth...But as a starter....we can do wayyyy better for a smaller pricetag Same can be said for MLB...T.Jones in same boat as Kramdi...that good depth tole guy but not the everydown starter...too many holes tho he likely isnt making a lot....which doesn't really make it better tho thats what is hurting us...there is a difference between depth of roster....and depth of ability We employ too many guys that basically are just used for special teams, and target them as such...as opposed to guys who can actuallyb play but due to actual depth...cant push out an established guy and are relagated to ST's...theres a big difference in that We have to change the way we go about rostering as it seems if a guy we seem to think isnt good enough to win a spot over an established guy...or older vet...we basically jut cut bait or let them waste on the PR because we are fine with our ST plugs who only fill that role...part of that problem is our draft philosophy....and our bias toward vets and long tenured guys
  22. Are we talking about holdovers from the 2019, 2021, or 2022 Grey Cup If we are talking 2022, that list is missing Hallett, Cadwallader, Gauthier, Benson and Lawson. Further back there is some churn because Castillo was around in 2021 and is back, same as Streveler. So you are looking at almost half the roster that has lost 3 grey cups with the team... and then a couple more guys who have won at least once before that. Looking at the list of guys on my post... that is a lot of life-time special teamers that are really no threat to take any snaps on defense. Maybe there is a lot of opportunity lost there in getting athletic dude who can play teams and then can transition to the defense. If that doesn't happen, cut loose and find the nice athletic guy who could make a difference one day.
  23. So old qb not playing to the level he was... old OL which is crap compared to it's hey day and dl which is crap compared to its hey day.... so yes age is catching up to this team. Used to win by dominating the lines of scrimmage but now they get their asses kicked on the LOS game in game out.
  24. With Kramdi, he can lay a good hit but 151 k if he meets all his bonuses (145k hard money) is too much. Nichols for example is a 3 time all star and he makes less.
  25. My only real issue with Kramdi is his salary and big play making ability. He just doesn't make the big play, like ever. He's solid. But I want a dominate Sam in there, not someone who is just not going to screw up that much.
