I'd give the starters 2..maybe 3 series with ZC and then park them..they already know the playbook and system and just need a few reps to knock of the rust and recalibrate the timing at game speed Some the excess db's and wr are more for looks at returner now as opposed to the #5 spot...I think it's a final audition for Wilson..Mitchell..Johnson and Vann for that 5 spot. I think Smith is the likely front runner for the return job and offensive Swiss army knife...especially if BO is not 100 percent..or they may want to ease him in...Smith offers just too much versatility to ignore...and is prob one the most explosive guys in camp...hope we go that route

Ba still hasn’t practiced iirc. Don’t think he’s doing well in recovery. We also need to stock the pr with a few guys in for turn over injuries and not working out. Wr will certainly be one starter one kr at this point. And again probably a guy or two for the pr.

The way I see it breaking down right now is that we have 2 HB (Nichols and Holm) and a safety (BA) locked in, plus a very likely field CB (Ford). That leaves 11 American DBs competing for 2 spots (boundary CB and backup/dimeback). At receiver it's even tighter... There is probably only one spot available on the active roster... Maybe two, if one of them is also a returner. The Bombers still have eight receivers competing for those spots. Assuming our starters play a quarter+ in the second preseason game, it's going to be hard for some of these guys to even get a chance to play.

Pretty normal. We also have a couple db starting spots open. And you need to keep similar volumes of each other to work with in camp. Wonder how he feels about huge frames and 3” vertices? lol

bad management is clueless about good coaching (check out their hiring history) ... this forecasts more gong show ... no great coach would want to be part of that

All teams need to do well but not all teams can win so hopefully the losers fans will still support them in tough times. As for Calgary. Move them to Halifax for all i really care.

Thought Ariel’s presser was solid. Seems like a guy all the players went to bat for also. Scheifele morrissey Lowry Helle all did. That has to be a good thing. did people expect them to put up 110 points? I don’t think so. That’s a huge improvement from where we were before bones came in here. Huge. the playoffs are on the players. We will see if Chevy and crew make some moves. There’s a few guys who stood out positively like morrissey Scheifele Connor Lowry. A few who didn’t like pionk and Ehlers and Toffoli and even Monahan. the improvement comes from what Chevy does. Arniel in a tough spot tho. Pretty tough to duplicate 110 points. But if they get 96 and win round 1. Is that improvement? will be interesting to see who Arniel adds to our staff. Wonder if they sign a woman coach. Or a vet like Todd McLellan to run the PK.
