Why do people get so pissed off when a reporter floats a story?? It's speculation. That's all that it is. It's a ctually great when someone from Sportsnet talks CFL in January.

I think the only attraction for ott with the pest would be dinwiddie. but i don’t think he’d a gotten the ott job with out wanting to work with brown. I don’t see any chance that whole scenario goes down. Why would any team in a trade give up brown or the pest for zach? If you’re lucky zach has a good year left. Hasn’t had a good one in two years. The other two have a ton of football left in them. Browns deal is great value as well. Madani is garbage as a sports reporter. A less knowledgeable version of suitor.

Exactly! Believe half of what you see and nothing you read are words I live by. Every rumor or hearsay since the beginning of time hasn't been true. People have agendas, want attention or just like making things up. Sometimes it might be a credible source, but who can tell the difference?

Ottawa just got Brown to take a reduced contract (which wasn't that high to begin with)so they can go hard in FA - pretty sure they aren't wanting to pick up the huge contract that Zach or Kelly would bring.

Shouldn't that be 'hang my head in shame' after the club has gone from first to worst....Not an easy feat....Might as well keep tanking and at least salvage something out of this dumpster fire of a season

If we give Zach the needed protection that also provides a great resource for BO to blow things up while adding a few offensive receivers to compliment Demski and Wilson with an OC who calls a creative game to keep the defense on their heals, we’ll be fine, easy peasy.

This is from a couple weeks ago... I posted about it when it dropped. He said the Bombers will be absolute trash this year and end up having to trade Zach to TO, Kelly will go to Ottawa and Brown back to Winnipeg...

This is the thing for me with an American draft and (imo) one of the reasons why there is so much turn over on the neg lists. If these guys get drafted and then say no thanks to playing in the CFL, what was the point of drafting them? As it is now, if the team holding neg list rights gets told the player has zero interest in the CFL, they can just drop him and add someone else.

As a CFL scout, my negotiation list would be the top 10 NFL prospects I ‘researched’ on the internets, turn it into my boss and let them know any questions let me know I’ll be ‘working’ from home. What a gig.

Neg list is far superior to an American draft IMO. It rewards your scouting as opposed to a draft which is voodoo when guys may never have an interest in coming north. Draft is an event they can market I am sure is the logic but it doesn't help the game.

Jets win? What? Weird. We have the plan with Gavin McKenna remember or just win 35 more straight games and we can go back to thinking this season.
