At Ham loss At Ott win Home Ham win At Edm loss Home Sask win Home MTL win (All with a relatively healthy Collaros. If no Collaros, could lose out the season) -
Like who.

It seems the closest we get to it is throwing a screen.

Hope you’re right about the Elk game cuz the fam and I will be attending that one. Just make the damn playoffs? -
put that line on your resume lol
-
Im not convinced they are. Never once was there a rec coming across the middle. I remember Demski specifically taking a play off and jogging a 10 yrd out. Collaros is on the ground and every rec is 20+ yards down field

Well as long as you believe. -
sure but his effort and hustle didn’t translate into much as usual. Sure gap sound as TH enjoyed multiple steamboats to do his thing. yes JT is not the only problem but bigger picture we do not offer any pressure with a 3 or 4 man rush and then when we blitz we get burnt. And yes our offense has to be better. And yes our top guys need to be better. And yes our coaches need to be better.

Blue Bombers - 2025 Regular Season - Discussion Thread

We are a .500 team right now with 2/3 of the season gone. Best guess on the remaining schedule: At Hamilton loss (especially of Collaros is still out) At Ottawa win Hamilton at home loss At Edmonton win Saskatchewan at home loss (This is the 2nd last week of the season, could be a win if SK has a playoff spot wrapped up already) Montreal at home win Don't really see us finishing above .500 either. Could be worse of Collaros is out long term. -
The Argos struck gold when they hired John Murphy- that dude is the truffle pig of finding players...
-
I believe competent GM and head coach candidates are out there, even if they have not held these positions as yet. The Argos hit gold when they hired Dinwiddie and if the Bomber upper management cannot find these, they ought to step aside and let those who can do the job.
-
What's that? All I saw was effort and hustle. Especially late in the game.
-
Ya that's fair... I haven't consciously been taking the home GC into account, but that probably is there somewhere. I'm just really sad because of how much I've enjoyed the top of the mountain. I don't want the good times to end. Call it being a child of divorce, if you want, but I don't want to see a "break up" on Chancellor Matheson.... Ha ha.
-
Let's be honest, many of us (Rebus raises his hand) are more ticked off this year because its a home Grey Cup and the team is struggling. Throw in an unspeakable horror taking place on November 16th (potentially) and you get this.
-
I think Calgary will finish first. The Riders vs. Bombers Labour Day games could have easily been a split, in spite of all the warts.
-
Bob O'Billovich coached the Argos for eight seasons (1982-89) before getting fired. Dinwiddie is now in his fifth season.
-
This has been an issue as long as Collaros has been here. He wants to take shots. Even on the plays he gets cranked and the second INT there's a guy on his read side with nobody within 10 yards of him. The hot routes are in the scheme.
-
I kinda hope Calgary finishes 1st in west and we play Sask in the western semi final in Regina. I dunno. That I think might be fun. Then it doesn’t really matter what they did would it? I mean a win in Regina vs Sask would be phenomenal. I say I hope west semi cuz don’t want Sask even possibly repping the west via bye to west final. Sask winning here would be gut wrenching.

Yeah just get rid of the sacred cows. They've been doing it gradually but I think they need to take some control on guys who are even all-time, HOF players. Like are we keeping Stanley Bryant at LT until he decides at age 72 that he's done? I think one of the two likely walk and do something else for awhile. Not thinking they'll go directly to another CFL team in the same role. Also not sure Dinwiddie is solid. If he makes it to next season he'll be the longest tenured Argos head coach since the 1940's. -
Walters and Osh get another chance to right the ship next year. Move on from Hogan (OC), Mitchell* and Logan* now Move on from some vets in the off season - we need new blood - Thomas, Bryant* (one of the best - but aging out), Gauthier, Streveler* (my current favorite Bomber - all heart - but diminishing returns/ or make him fight it out for third string), Dalton Shoen* (again all heart and skill, but body is failing him - very sad for him), Kolo (skill issue) - and have actual training camp battles - especially on the OL/DL - and draft a few potential starters on the OL/DL.
-
I’m not sure I see where. Dinwiddie going nowhere. Hamilton ain’t doing it. They are the cursed. Ottawa is the only option and they might be a bigger mess than us. I don’t think Ottawa is an O’Shea who perhaps is a good motivator and perhaps leader of men but in reality his decision making and roster management I think would bite him in his butt there also. Like what does O’Shea do? I mean besides everything according to booch and others. But besides that, what is he? He’s not an O coach. He’s not a D coach. He’s a sp teams coach.
