  1. Past hour
  2. never know...but it was obvious Holm had nothing to do with it.....they overturned the Bonds one which was the right call BTW...but a way tougher call to over rule
  3. Yeah I think we got away maybe with more tugs, but they got away with the most egregious plays. Guys like paddy and Stan know exactly what they can get away with. I’ve got no gripe going either way in the call on bonds pick. That was a tough play to call with all but one angle at super slow mo. My only issue is the quality of the challenge review, and the integrity of the process. I want that to be strong and consistent. I don’t agree, I think it’s clear he didn’t trip the wr. I also think it’s critical to throw those challenges if you think they won’t over turn it. Make it stand out and appeal it. Force the league to address it and change. Allowing them to brush it under the rug is being complicit. also, we had a time when those calls were super soft. But that was overhauled a couple years ago. It’s not that way any more. Incidental dpi is not that common and WRs don’t dive and draw calls easily.
  4. OK, this is a true story. Was at the game with the family yesterday in the South endzone, including my older son (14). He does NOT watch football at all, but comes with us to a game or two a year. Before the game they are doing player introductions and the D runs out of the tunnel one by one. No word of a lie, they introduce Jake Thomas and he waddles out and my son audibly starts to giggle and he turns to look at me as if to say "is that guy on the team?". All I could do was shrug.
  5. he did?...how so?...
  6. They should bring back Dunigan
  7. Because we need entertainment! The game is boring! Send in the clowns!
  8. He had a better game last night then the previous week.... let that sink in.
  9. Watching Jake Thomas last night on television. He's even wore than I thought. Always get turned inside to the right or left or is stood straight up & pushed back. Even when he made some kind of penetration towards the qb he was late. He has no moves. Just a straight bull rush. WTF??? And he got the majority of reps last night. He was lost on an island in a 3 man front. The Edmonton backs just ran right by him. Its to the point that I no longer respect him anymore. What a sad sack excuse for a DT. Retire, already.
  10. Careful, careful don't piss off the Football Gods please. 🙂
  11. I don't think it would have been overturned. They call accidental PI on any DB that breathes on a receiver as they fall down. The receiver can trip the DB and then shove them down but the way they call it the DB can't do anything.
  12. Yeah, you can see that slipping out and hitting the turf. It's better that they got it right, no one can say 'that's why they won'
  13. Jackson was one the bigger signings in off-season in my opinion...glad he here
  14. My perfect streak continues!
  15. we got mugged a lot more than they did in the dline holding...but we got away with a few...call that a wash The Bonds INT...That was a good call...he had help from the ground...a good play tho and forced a punt but we didnt get jobbed there...the PI on on Holm was straight crap tho...and Osh needs to challenge that....he is weak and slow onthe challenges...often
  16. I don't know why it has to be so "fun". The best panel ever was Randorf, Dunigan, Climie and Schultz and they took it seriously and gave great commentary. Why can't we have that again?
  17. I got to say Kramdi has simply been getting better every single year for us. Seeing him as a rotational player to what he is now has been incredible. He’s been absolutely lights out for the Bombers this year. He just always seems to be in the right spot at the right time. He had a great open field tackle on I think it was Gittens Jr. to limit him to six yards, if he doesn’t make that play it’s a huge gain, the trust Younger puts in his players when he sends 7-8 to know they can make a play or a tackle is incredible.
  18. I hate that mentality. Every things a conspiracy and the league/refs prop x team. Neither the league nor the refs are remotely competent enough to prop up their own jobs little on go way outside that and do some thing much harder. I think the reffing was fairly even in its badness last night. We lost two turn overs on questionable situations. And honestly, though I saw a couple brutal holds against our dl, our dl is not good at getting pressure. Our ol benefited more from the modern lack of holding calls than our dl suffered from it. This is the way the league is now. Holding and blocking penalties are rare especially on the ol. You see them far more on special teams.
  19. she'd do a better job covering basketball so we didnt have to see her
  20. And he seems to take that extra 1/2-1 second longer to punt the ball where you feel most times its going to get blocked. It's nerve racking. 8 392 - Elks punting 5 219 - BB Punting
  21. he started out shaky...but came around...he needs to string together multiple games like that tho....and against the top teams....maybe his old ass just needs a few series to work out the cobwebs and aches and grease his joints? Osh muttered some nonsense trying to justify it..but also about re-thinking it...said they did it many times before too which means jack....repeating stipud crap just cause you got away with it isn't coaching excellence Enviro Canada said wind last evening was between 10 and 13 km's ...hardly an issue and the field being 6 stories below grade was barely affected...flags in goal posts if you go back and watch for most part were barely moving so would have zero affect on passing...and minimal on kicks....just a dumb decision when you lost momentum and needed to come out and re-establish it.... Win is a win yup...happy about it but we definitely need some adjusting..tweeking and smarter coaching I think just a coincidence to support the wind people's point...the fact nobody on broadcast even referenced wind conditions is good indicator it was a non issue...and 13 km max winds...if you think you are impeded by that in a pro football game you best be getting some better players todeal with it Sometimes you need to get a feel for the vibe of the game and whats going on and run up the points in the 3rd..even while you up and trust in your defence...grow a set per say yeah making decisions based on you think you may need every advantage possible to score points in 4th...or possible help in impeding the other team is a weak sauce mindset
  22. First maybe two seasons he was way more aggressive with taking the ball, fakes etc. back then it seemed like we needed every single drive and chance to win games. Since 19 gc, that hasn’t been the case and he’s gotten more and more conservative. For me personally, you gotta be in extremely windy conditions, or windy plus muddy/wet/cold, to give up a drive. Choosing the wind doesn’t give you any extra time with or against the wind, it just ensures that you have it in the direction you want in the 4th. The actual advantage is pretty slight and just makes closing out games easier. But you shouldn’t get beaten by factors like the weather if you are well coached team. Also, the wind is not a simple advantage or disadvantage. It’s easier to kick longer with the wind, but you lose accuracy. Kicking with the wind is an advantage, but throwing with the wind is a disadvantage. Generally offences and QBs do better throwing into the wind than with it. Because it doesn’t mess with your accuracy as much, and it’s easier to throw harder into the wind than to take some thing off with the wind and retain a high level of touch on throws.
  23. 1. Zach. Over 300 yards and a rushing TD. He missed 5 passes all game really 2. Demski. He was a GTD and really was tremendous. 3. Kramdi. Just liked the effort and caused a fumble. Almost 2 even. HH. Peterson in the 4th.
  24. who is JBR and what was the spice?...do tell lol I'll say it again too...our punter is garbage...and will cost us...he alredy does but we sneaking by I dont care at times what his net is...when he cant put it as deep as others and it gains teams valuable field position...Plus he has zero ability to kick us out of trouble...none at all....we lucky we have a staunch defence cause it glosses over his shittyness....worst in league bar none you forgot stupid in front of the POS
